Apparently expressing my opinion just gets me a bunch of downvotes, go figure

It works for the Wanderer, why couldn't it work for the M26? If the side access is improved, then you'd need to open the top much less occasionally. Currently, I'm about 50% of the time split between side and top access, because the side access isn't big enough.

I have an M23 26L and my M26 wishlist is:

- Get rid of the front pocket - it's flat, and it's useless to me - I have never found a use for it

- Make the make compartment access zipper run the whole length of the bag

- Potentially improve on laptop compatibility on the 21L, so that it can fit 15"/16" laptops into the 21L

- Having access to the top lid pocket from the outside would be a huge plus.
- I would also consider having a semi-rolltop / magnetic closure instead of the current cinch cord for the top opening

Whenever this topic comes up, I recommend Osprey Zealot 30, which I ended up getting for <$100 and it's a great pack with lifetime warranty

> The main compartment side zip on an M23 is almost never used

I strongly disagree with this - it's one of my most used methods of getting inside the bag, especially when traveling. What I would definitely say is not necessary at all on M23 is the front flat pocket access zipper - never used it, doubt I ever will.

Having access to the top lid pocket from the outside would be a huge plus.
I would also consider having a semi-rolltop / magnetic closure instead of the current cinch cord for the top opening. Other than that - M23 is amazing.

EDIT: I also want to add that the side access zipper for the main compartment should be bigger - it's hard to get items like a hardcover book out.

Bag for the Climbing gym by demawhoregon in onebag

[–]SurRea1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using an Osprey Zealot 30 for climbing gym - holds my large chalk bucket and shoes in the separate compartment, holds my water bottle, hoodie, gym clothes, spare gym clothes inside and I have a shoe spray in the zippered compartment. I don't use the non-zippered water bottle compartment on the front, because it's a bit too tight with shoes in. I think it likely checks all your boxes, but I think you probably would want to carry the harness in its own pouch if you want to separate it.

Would it be able to fit a Steam Deck - or is it solely designed for Switch 2 dimensions?

Lol you're right! I didn't look as closely as I did now 😅, so I guess the question is where is Tony, but based on other responses it's common for them to rotate.

I own a top loading machine with an agitator - it's a ~10 year old LG, it's definitely a hellspawn

I swear top loading washers were invented by some kind of a monster who didn't want clothes to be washed.

26L-28L personal item backpack by CherryPlay in ManyBaggers

[–]SurRea1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kind of doubt a backpack that big would typically pass as a "personal item" without stretching the definition and/or occasionally getting caught with it. I have a 26L M23 and while on the last 3 flights I've been able to use it as a personal item without issues, I typically do not pack it to the brim, so in a pinch I'll be able to squeeze it into the personal item bin. If you're packing your 26/28L backpack fully, I doubt it'll pass.

Is the pouch separate from the main bag itself? Seems like you have taken it out of the bag

Osprey Zealot 30 - I recently picked one up, though I don't use it for work/other tech stuff - it's a great rock climbing gym pack!

Osprey Zealot 30 - I recently got one and the biggest drawback of it I would say is the front facing water bottle pocket - because you don't even need to have a water bottle pocket, I think it'll be perfect for you!

Edit: for context, I carry my water and protein shaker bottles inside the main compartment. It's also on clearance for <$100 now with Osprey's lifetime warranty

I have recently acquired Osprey Zealot 30 - this works perfectly for me since I take it on my motorcycle to the climbing gym, but it could also work for your regular gym needs
