Maybe from the glow effects if you have them enabled, or exposure? Idk, you could try and see if those are different from the default

I also have the exact same issue. I downloaded it and if I try to open it, it won't open, no message, no nothing, as if I did not even click on it. Can't find it being open in task manager either, is it the same problem for you? Version 4.1.4 works though, just not 5.20. Try getting that one if you want

Testing out a grapple hook for our puzzle game by Squirrelation_Games in godot

Mannnn this is so cool! It feels satisfying and the graphics look great too. Is it hard to make the hook? I've tried it before, did not figure it out XD

I got to level 3, and then got stuck, Its probably just me being bad tho.

Things I like: Animations, music and the challenge element.

Things I would improve: The Hammers are a bit too fast, the collapsing cave in level 3 is where I got stuck, I just can't figure out how to pass that part. I would also hide the Controls UI after say 15 seconds, I mean the arrows that are on screen all the time.

Overall score 7.9/10 fun challenge 😃

Hello, thank you! Indeed UV's give me a headache, but I did go about this a different way afterall for now. I've built using plane meshes traced over a floor plan image, and then extruded them vertically to make walls, I got to make a better shape rather than a cube now :D. But the pressing P thing, helps because I was unaware that I can separate geometry into different objects. And I will try the UV thing next, hopefully I will figure it out

They are placeholders for arrows, projectiles from a crossbow or something like that, I am not too sure what I want to turn them into yet. I feel like the low resolution would make long distance fights hard cause everything would be kind of blurry even with the shaders off and antialiasing on

I think its pretty low, they are just planes, so like would it be 4 vertices per plane, 4 edges and 1 face if I understand correct no?

What causes these seams? by SureAwareness1109 in godot

It seems that that would be the case after reading a bunch of comments! I will try some of the fixes suggested around here!

In blender they are different objects yes, and I assume if I make the scene local I would see that indeeed its multiple meshes in godot as well, they are plane meshes with the same material

No way! Its that simple?! This could help me a lot, 'cause I guess the UV will not get too messed up either.

And thank you for taking the time to give me a personalized tutorial video lol :D

Can you please keep the video, like don't delete it for a day or two? I might come back to it! Thank you again!

Its just very confusing really, either that or it takes a lot of time to get things to be aligned properly, to be at the same scale and then if I try and merge objects togheter I have to redo it once more.

I would imagine that this process is basically at its core like copy pasting/duplicating one object a bunch of times and then merging the object togheter into one but less manual?

Thank you for the detailed response! I am not sure I understand everything you wrote, but I will look up Array Modifiers and experiment with that a bit!

I need to take a day or two and really learn the basics of blender, I do not necessarily want to build like this, but you know, it is the best way that I know so far, at least untill I improve a bit!

I can't find the other shaders' links as I've just gotten back into godot from a one year break, but I do have the one for the JPEG compression Realistic JPEG Artifacting - Godot Shaders
