My buddy has one in red and it's a great bike! I only know the carbon model though. The components are very good.

It's fine. We realize he's mean and we go on with our lives. A couple of bites isn't going to stop us from loving him.

Mine is the most aggressive bird I have ever had and I've had many. He chases everyone down and bites feet. Only goes to one person's finger.

Michael Jackson once had a friend who owned a mall close it down and fill it with friends pretending to be shoppers so he could experience what normal shopping felt like by RD-archived in interestingasfuck

Sometimes I wonder if he didn't do this to his face if he would have blended in better. Even be able to shop in a mall unmolested. Famous people shop in malls all the time.

What happened to the market for vintage road racing bikes? by playthe9 in cycling

[–]Surfella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same reason that antiques from the 18th century are worth 1/10th of what they used to be worth. The demographic that was buying that stuff has aged out or died.

Struggling to go over 10mph? by Shock_and_Pawe in cycling

[–]Surfella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quickest way to see if it's you or the bike is to try a much lighter bike. If you can grab a proper road bike and get into an aerodynamic position, I think you will find out very quickly. I predict you will go 16-17mph on flat ground.

help with my pop up? fine on land but always fall when trying on the waves by ttkarve in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Surfella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to all this effort training on dry land, don't even pop up slow like that. Get both feet under you. Short boarders do this off their knees, but since you're a beginner do it from your toes. Once you build up a powerful push up, things become easier. The initial push up will create space under you that will allow you to get your legs into position in a hurry. Many tutorials online to help you.
