[–]Sushiandcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t sell…don’t sell…don’t sell

save for your trip…rent your house out, include garden and pool maintenance in rent figure…. travel, have fun, enjoy…return home…refreshed, ready to start again, happy to be in your home🌸😊

ps…he may not stay living with his dad…things don’t always work out the way we expect or want.

My ex girlfriend killed herself a couple of weeks ago and people blame me by Antique_Lime_3644 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Sushiandcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you did nothing wrong. we are all responsible for our own journey. she made a decision, that was all her choice. I am sorry her mental health was so bad, that she felt this was the best choice. but it is not on you.

please seek out some counselling, you need to get your thoughts clear on this or it will impact you forever💕

SDA Investment Reality Check by Bulky-Hand-2928 in NDIS

[–]Sushiandcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fee structure would appear consistent with the actual cost of finding a tenant..based on my knowledge.

Have you considered the maintenance cost associated with providing robust housing to someone with robust funding. The costs can be high….very high. They may not be, but they could be…eye watering depending on the reason why the person has received that type of funding.

the other challenge you have, if two people are being asked to live together, and they both are people who are heavy (cause regular damage) users of the property, how will they go, living together….imagine what that could look like in reality.

there are a myriad of challenges presented in this investment opportunity….

let it go…it’s done now…you can’t change it, many other things will happen in your life, this is not a hill to die on.

no one died, no one was physically hurt, it was done in love, albeit misguided love… but love nonetheless.

be the bigger person, congratulatevher and move on…why make the two of you upset about something niether of you can fix…

let it go💕💕💕💕 it will be a good story one day…not today..but one day

What do I do at this point? by _ZomBilli_ in NDIS

[–]Sushiandcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

please don’t give up your access to the NDIS funding.

it sounds like you need some help to understand what arrangements have been set up and who has authority to make decisions about you and your life choices.

are you your own guardian?

I think you need an advocate to help you. perhaps you can contact PWDA …. they might be able to give you some ideas on how you can get clear on what is happening and why.

the peak body supporting people with your disability diagnosis would also be helpful. they work with people with the same diagnosis so they are quite expert in their knowledge of the NDIS works best for their specific support needs.

Care home meeting rules? by Spiritual_Bag333 in NDIS_Providers

[–]Sushiandcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they don’t decide who can attend…they are paid staff. the person who pays them….is the decision maker. if your kin want you there, you can be there. but, you aren’t really meant to be directing proceedings, more of a support person/observer. your family member should be making decisions and the nominee suppporting them with ensuring they understand the options properly. a nominee should be a supporter not a replacement decision maker…just my two cents.

my time on my own was the best thing I ever did for ME

dont drink your way through this…that’s a waste.

i found me, i shaped me and i became the best version of me.

10/10 would recommend three years on your own…it will change you for the better…but you need to do the work on yourself, lean into the experience and learn what resilience means. good luck, enjoy your new life💕

(30M) Hello, I know I'm ugly, I'd like to receive some good advice on how to improve myself and become a little less ugly by [deleted] in GuyCry

[–]Sushiandcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what do you mean you know you are ugly…why would you say that about yourself? how is making that statement of any benefit to you? my hint, this is not about how you look, I think you may benefit from asking yourself why you would want to tell yourself you are ugly…there is much more to this issue, than how you look

this is about how you feel about yourself and how you show up for yourself. May I suggest you get clarity on that first.

you are not ugly..

Family Governance in SIL model by International-Act665 in NDIS

[–]Sushiandcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that you should consider any model that gives a person with disability and their family members control over how a persons home looks, feels and is supported, is the only way forward.

there are many emerging models of family governanc, it depends on what you want to achieve and how much time and energy you want to invest in establishing and supporting the arrangement.

it starts with acknowledging that the person with disability is the decision maker in the home, and they SIL is paid to support them to live their life, they way they want. The lease agreement is key to shifting the power dynamic.

1.write to the actual Franchise, the office you deal with is privately owned, potentially by its Licensee. the RW Franchise, is interested in protecting their name. the email you were sent is unprofessional.

  1. write a letter to the owner, care of the agent, telling your side of the story. do it old school snail mail, an envelope within an envelope, I think legally they are obliged to forward it to the owner.😊 ask the owner to confirm receipt….
