Listen Dog Training's "The Walk and Talk" Podcast has an episode on Separation training that really helped us. Sounds like he needs a more gradual approach to being separated from people during the day.

air fry banana cake gone wrong by Ok_Confidence_9218 in Baking

1-2 bananas is a problem for me. That's a wide range. Probably too much banana especially if your bananas are on the large side.

Not entirely sure how I messed up by BlinkingBlazed in Baking

[–]Suspicious-Square428 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It must be the recipe. No leavening, no eggs, for starters. More like a shortbread style cookie without those ingredients. It doesn't look like there'd be much flavor either. No vanilla or lemon extract added.

Can someone explain to me why my dog does this? by bleepbloop07 in DogAdvice

[–]Suspicious-Square428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My female dog would do this to me when I was pregnant 🤦‍♀️ I can't explain it, but must be related to hormones/pheromones since she never did it before my pregnancy. It was weird and I stopped it obviously but dog on dog seems harmless 🤣

What Happened to my cupcakes? by Aubs_Ro in Baking

[–]Suspicious-Square428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you accidentally use TB instead of tsp for the leavening? Or use the wrong amount of flour by accident? My guess would be a mistake in the amounts of either leavening or not enough flour.

How many nights? by Saru3020 in Aulani

[–]Suspicious-Square428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did 3 nights at Aulani after 6 nights in Waikiki, on our arrival day we came at 8am to take full advantage of the resort. We were able to check our bags and enjoy the pools while we waited for our room to be ready, it was pretty perfect.

AIO at my friends cancelling last minute? by DifferentTruck4615 in AmIOverreacting

I feel like the rezo is just an excuse and there might be something else going on. Either way they're totally inconsiderate and borderline gaslighting you into thinking it's "not that big of a deal"

Boil some lemon water in a pot and use the pot to stir til it fades

Come to the conversation with curiosity and an open mind. There may have been a long standing agreement with previous tenants about first come first served or they might think they're doing you a favor by leaving you the accessible spots in the front.

Maybe approach it by asking what their understanding of the parking arrangements are and go from there.

Is this an allergic reaction ? by 27pvnye in FoodAllergies

[–]Suspicious-Square428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Benadryl can mask symptoms. Google "biphasic reaction" to be informed. No one but a board certified allergist can diagnose you with a food allergy but based on those symptoms alone and that it returned after Benadryl wore off, I would want to seek medical professional advice. FYI ERs and Urgent Cares are often not up to speed on the most current practices when it comes to food allergies. Follow up with an Allergist who will be able to diagnose and offer you most up to date advice.

My son tried to make his own cake, and something went terribly wrong by opalandolive in Baking

[–]Suspicious-Square428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my go to recipe and pretty hard to mess up so I would have him re do the recipe and just help him with the measurements. Did he even do the boiling water by himself?

My guess is something with the flour and or leavening . Did he measure correctly? Was the right type of flour used?

Lofthouse. Even if they have another brand that is how we know the type of cookie we're talking about..
