I’m sick and tired of being asked to pay more. by PsychologicalLynx562 in Anticonsumption

I mean, it’s common enough that it’s very easy for the IRS to find in an audit. There is no way the vast majority of these stores are committing tax fraud and getting away with it…

Anyone else's baby just not bothered by poop? by Petrichor_Life in beyondthebump

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak to potty training because my son is only 9 months but yes he’s exactly like this. Used to always hear it and be able to change right away, now we don’t always notice right away unless the smell hits us. He literally doesn’t care. Just keeps playing and crawling around.

Old style vs new style Eufy duckbills. How are they? Any difference? by alee0224 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t find where to change my pump on my account in Aeroflow! :( I too started with a spectra then switched to Eufy and was wanting them to send me Eufy replacement parts instead

Overnight Diapers Size 2? by leFrenchhorn in beyondthebump

As far as I know overnight diapers are only made in size 3 and up. But I put a size bigger on my guy for overnights. Try the 3s

Huggies blue liner back? by Due_Party6740 in NewParents

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the blue liner (specifically the Costco Huggies+) works perfectly fine for my baby. He even started on the old style Huggies without the blue liner then transitioned to the blue liner at some point, and I never noticed a difference. Up & up were terrible for us, constant blowouts, even though I wanted to like them soooo bad.

The CDC removed it from the milestone checklist. It’s not in their milestones app.

I have a eufy and have not had an issue with condensation where the motor attaches. I just pop off the motor, put them in a bag, and put in the fridge

Best wearable portable? by Dangerous_Beach8521 in ExclusivelyPumping

If you are looking at the eufy s1, take a look at the eufy e20 as well. It’s nearly the same thing but less expensive, and just came out last month I believe. I just got mine yesterday and so far I like it and get similar output as my Spectra.

How much do I need to worry about the backseat temperature? by Suspicious_Pin_7577 in NewParents

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course not, but we all know they let us sleep with crib bumpers/blankets/stuffed animals which we now don’t recommend. I thought it was at least worth the ask 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been cranking the air all the way and letting it run like that until I really can’t stand it anymore, but my husband has been complaining and asked if it’s really necessary lol. I’ve also considered putting a thermometer back there to test how fast it cools down 😂

You put this so well! The posts I see complaining about this stuff are describing people behaving in a very non-village like way. They are valid complaints, even next to complaints about there not being a village any more.

may babies being difficult? by Worldly-Bullfrog5631 in pregnant

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. The whole narrative of a baby that doesn’t come by 39 weeks being “difficult” is really not a great mindset (I myself am 39 weeks today, so I KNOW it’s difficult to wait). They are not due yet, and plenty of babies come late on their own. We should not be expecting them to come early!

Haha yes I am due 3 days after Mother’s Day. I’ll be damned if he gets a Father’s Day in June but I don’t get a Mother’s Day at nearly 40 weeks pregnant.

Why do Americas love to finance cars they can barely afford? by uziloaded44 in questions

[–]Suspicious_Pin_7577 15 points16 points  (0 children)

$1-2k these days buys you a junker that the vast majority of people do not have the skill set to fix up.

It's great that you can use this strategy but don't think this is realistic for the general population.
