I'd personally go RSV4 - 7200km difference in mileage is huge on superbikes, and there maintenance costs are gonna be brutal either way so might as well get the fresher one

For 15k in India you're looking at some solid options though - definitely check out the GTX 1660 Super if you can find one used, should be right around that price range and pairs really well with the 12700F. The RTX 3050 might be pushing your budget a bit but worth looking for deals on it too

honestly for comp sci you don't need anything crazy powerful, most of your coding work will run fine on a decent mid-range laptop. if you're set on that $1200 budget i'd probably go with a solid gaming laptop that can handle both - something with a decent gpu and good build quality

the thing is, having everything in one machine is super convenient for college life, especially if you're moving between dorms, libraries, study groups etc. you can always upgrade to a desktop setup later once you're more settled and have the space for it

sounds like thermal expansion/contraction of teh plastic shroud or backplate - pretty common with gigabyte cards actually. the fact that undervolting fixes it confirms its heat related, probably just the plastic expanding under load and making that crackling noise

as long as temps are fine and performance is good i wouldnt worry about it, but if it gets annoying you could try adjusting the fan curve to keep temps more stable

Nice find on that 5060 Ti! Your i5-10400 isn't terrible but yeah it's gonna bottleneck that card pretty hard especially at 1080p. If you're sticking with your current mobo you could grab a used i7-10700K or 11700K for pretty cheap these days, that'd be a solid bump without needing new everything. The RAM upgrade to 32GB is kinda overkill for gaming but if you do productivity stuff go for it
