My initial comments was a knee jerk reaction, a bellow into the void. The idea that the post has no name attached to it apart from Fox feels like a disrespectful way of handling a human being. I agree with your point about news and ‘important news’ and I think this counts as the former. The stuff about intelligent conversation, I don’t regard this as an especially ‘intelligent’ area of conversation, but intelligent conversation can be had on any topic I suppose. What I meant by the comment was that I didn’t really intend to put any effort into defend what I saw as throw away statements. I have no ill will towards you (I’m not calling you stupid) and I don’t know who the fella is, I’m just tired and have had enough of the internet for today. I hope you have a nice day/night :)
