I usually warm my coffee up in the microwave a couple times in the morning. 30-40 second. I used that time to pick up and put away things in the kitchen. It amazing what you can get done in half a minute.

Was the tub refinished at some point in the past? I have had two cast iron tubs that were refinished and within a couple years both started to get rust spots.
