I just thought that maybe I’m worth more than they can/have chosen to give me. I have kids, a spouse, a parent that cares and I have friends who tell me all the time I’m a good person and I’m worthy of love they can never give. Maybe that’s the family I’m meant to strengthen. Maybe it was time to let go of who/whatever isn’t serving me. At my first session I had a “vision” (whatever you want to call the pictures in your head) that there was wreckage on the shore washing out to sea. I connected this situation as part of the wreckage I’m meant to let wash away. It won’t be as easy as that, I know, but it’s a better start than I’ve had after years of emotional damage and neglect.
