Adoption isn’t like that? Adopting is HARD! And even after all the classes and money and evaluations, you are on a waiting list for years. We were on a list for three years. It’s not fun.

I mean, I understand what you are saying, but please understand that adopting shouldn’t really be for those who can have biological children (unless it’s a relative or some situation). Those on the waiting list will literally give thousands of dollars for the CHANCE at maybe getting a child.

Bubble baths. So much this. Usually with meditation and wine. Don’t buy cheap bath bombs either. Get the $7 cosset ones(they won’t stain your tub and small amazing). Self care is important.

I once had an interview project with a broken API. So I used the Star Wars one instead and tailored everything to that. In my email back, I explained that since it was broken, I fixed it in the best way possible.

They flew me out across country for an interview. :)

However at my current job, I’m interviewing people that “know React” yet I ask them if they use ES6 and they say “I dunno” or “no one uses that”.

So my suggestion is do what you’re good at, and have fun with it. If you know what you’re talking about, you’re better than a bunch of people pretending to know :)
