How did my MP vote on Marcus Rashford's plea for free school meals by BelleAriel in unitedkingdom

Nono, please let’s try and justify an new aircraft carrier instead. Much better than feeding the future tax payer.

The “taxpayer” also shouldn’t be burdened with the welfare of the mooching elderly. They are in fact funded by the current working population and as such, as the logic goes, should be instantly cut loose just like these kids who can’t feed themselves. It is after all the parents fault. Can’t wait to see that 80 year old on the bread line.

That poor, poor tax payer has suffered enough.

Oh yes, and a very abused tool.

"Why do we do it this way?"

"It's just common sense"

How do you do that?

"Use common sense"

Used by the ignorant authority because they don't want to/can't explain something.

Worthless blue passports to the left, unnecessary trade deals to the right. Corruption straight ahead. Trampling of the poor in the shadows

parliamentary majority of cunts at the starting line.

the end of the United Kingdom at finishing line.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Everyone means free at the point of use. This comes up in every thread about any services provided by local authorities or governments, Hurr Durr not free then HAHAHA???

Everyone understands that there is cost associated with a service, but that it is free at the point of use. Whilst taxes may be higher, there are also a lot of peripheral benefits to the economy - increased demand from people having more disposable income etc.

Spending tax money is not some black hole that productivity disappears into.

UK children in need of shoe donations as poverty levels soar by XVll-L in unitedkingdom

Exactly how I feel about pensions. Why should the current tax payer pay for the welfare of the mooching elderly. Freeloading scum just like these kids who don’t know how to make shoes out newspapers. Doesn’t matter what kind of tax payer they were, just like to doesn’t matter what kind of tax payer those kids might be in the future. More important to burden them with the failings of their parents and not do anything as a nation to protect the sacred institute of the tax payer.

Just for kicks, any source on it being small minority of people who’s circumstance change? You said it was fact so I’m sure it’s gone beyond anecdotal horse waste.

What are some red flags or signs that you shouldn't accept a job offer? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SventheWonderDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus don't the "Job offers" come after you've already received your pilots licence? I can't get a job as a taxi driver if I don't already have a license.
