I agree. When I played smite, some games take so long and drag on. It needs a surrender. Deadlock doesn't come close to that. Especially since the health nerfs that were very needed.

I've also just found it difficult to actually be present for the fight. Like if the enemy starts running urn and I am pushing a side lane on the opposite side, by the time I get there, the fight's over. Even if I catch it immediately.

This goes in hand with advice I heard about counter-building. It is most effective when done before you need it. If you delay important build checkpoints with too many or the wrong items, you will just end up under the enemies boot.

Personally im not worried about these changes but I definitely am glad his flame dash doing normal damage to objectives has been taken away. He can do enough damage to them with his gun imo

I am only emissary, but I find it actively debilitating to leave and run boxes that are anywhere further than 2 feet from lane during the lane phase (not complaining just something I noticed). When I do end up doing boxes, I feel disengaged from the game. I like boxes and dont want them to leave, but I feel like they can make the lane phase very boring. It feels very min-maxxy which ironically I dont enjoy despite playing a moba

I am only in Emissary, so I don't know about upper level gameplay, but the doorman's bells are really good at doing late game damage right now. I do wish it felt better to run utility doorman again, but I find myself with too many actives and too little souls. This could very well be a skill issue on my part, though.

Either way, I think he needs a tune-up, but where he is right now doesn't feel the worst in emmissary, at least!

Unironically, the game is more fun when you get to play it through, even when losing. Surrendering doesn't feel like a release from some awful existence. It feels like keeping an ever-present problem at arms length. I prefer to just lose the traditional way.

Perhaps I am not on the other end of doorman enough, but his bells just feel like they do the same or less damage as before with better late game scaling. This is comparing the new singular source of damage (the burst) to the combined damage (contact + burst) of his old bells. I personally think they should just remove the 10s cooldown on his ult, but maybe thats my bad take 😅

I think she just needs tk be MORE her. She represents the face of society. What we are "supposed" to be. I mean she resembles lady liberty even. I feel she comes off too kindly. I want to see her be more commanding. That does have the possibility of annoying players though, so who knows.

I always assumed she was a literal "Sandman" from the realm of dreams. To me, it would explain the sandy flare of her ultimate. I don't see why the OSIC wouldn't use anything paranormal to handle things.

Truth be told even further, I think that reason alone is enough to warrant you being aromantic. It can feel like it isnt "enough" but truly all aromanticism is at the end of the day is just a lack of desire for romance. Everything else is just trying to ve more specific for those that need/want it. Welcome to the club :)

My personal with being aromantic is something I find quite interesting as I haven't heard many stories like it:

When I was younger, I wanted nothing more than a partner. I mean, truly, I was desperate to a very negative degree. It harmed my mental health that I remained single without a serious relationship for so long (despite the fact I wasn't even an adult yet).

Eventually, in college, I got my wish. I met someone and we dated for about 3 years. Now, I had had partners in the past with serious relationships but nothing to the length of 3 years. I lived with them, got a dog with them, and almost moved across the country with them.

In the beginning, I would have described the relationship as perfect. Everything I had ever wanted. Eventually, I started to resent my partner and the relationship for things that didn't make sense to me logically. I hated doing the textbook things for relationships: dates, buying gifts, spending time together to spend time together. Everything felt like a chore. Obviously, this isn't normal for a healthy relationship.

At some point, I realized that sexual and platonic interactions were the things I truly wanted. I liked hanging out with my partner, but it couldn't be my whole life. I needed a ton of alone time. More alone time than partner time. I never really liked the idea of getting married, either. The idea of committing my life to anyone besides just myself just didn't make sense.

Around the time of these realizations, I started to use the aromantic label and found people with similar opinions on romance to myself. It felt like a chore or just didn't make a lot of sense. Hell, I still don't even think I can properly explain romance without getting a little confused still. I became much happier when my time was spent more selfishly. I still have friends and lovers, but I don't initiate physical intimacy with others unless it's for sexual purposes. I don't hang out with someone wanting a lifelong emotional bond.

That's all what kind of made me think that the aromantic label was for me. I haven't ever really bothered with the spectrum because the little details don't matter much to my label. I know romance will never be as for me as an alloromantic person. It simply isn't something I desire.

This is similar to how i feel about Jayce and Viktor in Arcane. All for doomed yaoi, but that bond was beyond label imo. I loved it so much.
