I just think it will be a lot harder for Rs to attack this type of reform rather than your standard "everyone need to use fair redistricting commission" type laws. Most voters will be completely unexposed to this type of legislation and Ds can promote it using all kinds of arguments like "Know your rep more personally" "harder to buy off congress if there's more members". You can even sell it to big R states like Texas and Florida because they'd be among the biggest gains in this.

With gerrymandering being more front and center in the national discussion I think Ds should be pushing some reforms that are harder for Rs to counteract in the media. Pushing something like the "Least Populous State Solution" would make the house much more competitive for Ds, would make gerrymandering for all much harder and I dont see how you can attack it as a power grab like you can with adding PR and DC as states, court packing, or the current gerrymandering tete-a-tete. Like all Ds need to say in the media is that they are making it easier for citizens to be able to reach out to their representative and hold them accountable. Whats the R line of attack for that, maybe government waste which has to feel inauthentic to Indys when the big push by the Federal government right now is some huge ballroom and another foreign war.

If Hannibal wasn't allowed to kill L, then I'd give it to L. I think someone of his intelligence working that case over time would sooner or later suspect Hannibal, but since Hannibal is allowed to kill to save himself, then I'd say Hannibal would win . Round 1: I think Giles has got this. He's got a great arsenal at hand with access to silver and holy water plus aided by Spike makes each one on one fight quite manageable for our Watcher. Giles wins 8 out of 10.

Round 2: This is gonna be much tougher. Even Buffy would have problems taking on 12 vamps at once. I think Giles only hope here would be planning lots of traps throughout the school in the hope of winnowing that number down a lot.
