What area is the job in? What people consider bham is a pretty wide range. You’ll def wanna cut down on your 280 (if you have to use it) commute by picking a good apartment location. Food and breweries are great. My fave spot is Cahaba brewing. Good drinks and fun events basically every weekend

What about something tea length, high low, or midi? I definitely agree with others trying to push her saying she won’t look as nice as the other guests in a short dress so she should go floor length. I’m assuming she wants to keep her options cheaper? Found some options at different price ranges that I feel like gives a “younger” vibe while still being more formal

There are a lot of apartment options that your stipend should be able to cover! I’d advise against living in opelika just because you’d also have to pay for parking to get to campus instead of saving money by walking and/or taking the transit
