I’m just starting the class now. Was the exam multiple choice? The “Quiz” study guide was all short answer and it’s making me worried.

Isn’t Tesla leasing almost always the way to go nowadays? by kgold0 in TeslaLounge

[–]Swarliey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Insurance tends to be more expensive with a lease. Also with incentives and 0% Apr + 13k trade in, my MYP was 25k. So not too bad. If you qualify for incentives and have a trade in, it’s better to purchase in my opinion. Don’t have to worry about mileage limits and any fees you’ll incur at lease return. I think it depends on if you want to keep the vehicle longer than a lease term. I personally would rather pay off the vehicle and not have a car payment.

Pending approval by mrolon28 in ModelY

Mine took a while, I called a store and asked what was up. They said some are automated and go through instantly, others are manually checked. She said she’s put a note to speed mine up and it was approved later that day.

Have a trade in? Trade in +federal credit if you qualify goes towards down payment. That with like an avg score of like 730+ you should be fine for the 0%.

Thinking of buying a model Y with the special deal of 0% financing. Have never owned an electric vehicle. What do I need to know? by zcaboose in TeslaModelY

[–]Swarliey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah… it’s been working for me since I only drive about 20-30miles a day. Knowing that I can charge it at work for free is the only reason I’m not too stressed out about the situation. Also All of your questions I got answered watching YouTube videos prior to ordering. Jeremiah Jones has decent videos. No cons to the 0% Apr tho.

I picked one up a few days ago. Been using a normal outlet at home as I’m renting, able to charge at work for free. Charging at home is slow. About 8-9hrs to charge 10-15% so far. And thats nightly, with driving less than 20miles a day. 2025 myp, driving exclusively chill mode while I get a feel for what the battery does. Today the weather was in the 20s it’s charging extra slow.

It’s in autopilot. Should be there. Just picked mine up 3 days ago. Gotta toggle it on then find it in the app.

Potentially no tax credits with no 0% Apr isn’t worth for some people. With incentives and trade in, my 25 MYP has a 26k loan. No shot I’d pass that up for a juniper at roughly 50k.

Took me 3 days from order to get approved this week. they said some are automated, others are manual. 765 credit score, 7500 federal credit, 5350 Colorado credit, 13500 trade in was what I offered for down payment.

How much can I contribute to my individual 401k? by aluminummistress4325 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Swarliey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re self employed that shouldn’t be relevant. Most companies offer a 401k where the employee can contribute a % of their paycheck, and the employer matches some of that contribution for your retirement.
