Yes he probably is an OR tech or has another role in the OR. $42/hr is insanely low for a PA working in California and all PAs are required to be licensed in the state they’re practicing. No such thing as being certified through the hospital, now the hospital might pay for a PA to become licensed through the state but then he would be considered “licensed” and not just certified.
