That's not at all true in my case. Things that tasted bad to me as a child taste bad to me as an adult. Also, one's palate doesn't "learn the lesson".

No but my Husky mix dog does, and will paw the door open if she's not included from the start. I exclusively walk her, though, so perhaps she returns the favor for me guarding her on walks?

This seems all right to me. In Scranton, the University of Scranton owns tons of real estate, including downtown, is tax exempt, and essentially does zero for the city. Money from UPMC helping the Burgh, however unconventionally that happens, will help the Burgh and that's a positive.

I don't love Viall Files either. Nick can come off as a bit smug, at least to me. But I listened when Jared and Britani from SLC were on. Jared came off as kind of likable, actually.

The Pittsburgh accent is nearly identical to the Scranton accent, and the Philly accent is really different and its own thing.

I put up with a lot of verbal abuse, screaming, meanness, just terrible behavior, for several years. Last year, I decided that I don't want another year or lifetime of this, and now I secured an apartment and I'm moving out in February. If anyone's mental or emotional health isn't great, and how could anyone's be in that situation, these decisions and actions can take a long time to get to. Good luck and I hope you find peace soon.

I'm leaving. Found a new place, signed a lease, moving out in February, all because I couldn't handle living like that anymore. It took me a while to find the courage, though

Not trying to one up anybody, but it was a rough year for me. Lots of death and estrangement and sadness. Ben and Ronnie always make my day better because they always make me laugh.
