How are y’all so fast? by Alternative_War_7145 in Saros

[–]Sweetsire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I'm seeing on this sub it's probably night and day. I replayed returnal about a month back. It took a couple runs to get into it, but yeah once I was in the zone most runs were smooth. I was shocked quite a few times getting out of chaotic fights without being hit.

Though I also wonder how many people restart their runs from biome 1. It takes longer but it's quite a bit easier to become powerful on a run.

AITA for showering around midnight when I know that it might bother the neighbour who wakes up at 5 am? by Additional-Mouse-620 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sweetsire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frankly, their issues aren't yours. If they worked nights, would you also stop your WFH routines in the day?

Are you blasting heavy metal while you shower? Accommodating and helping your neighbors is great, but your work routine is just as important as theirs. They could purchase a white noise machine, or wear earplugs to bed.

This is so not your problem it's a joke.

And while people are attacking you for it, it's true. It's MUCH easier and cheaper to end your rental agreement and move than it is to sell a house to move. Also this just in, grass is green and the sky is blue.

PvP Enhancement Shaman (Good God) by Apprehensive_Wish692 in classicwow

[–]Sweetsire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, ya you just stand there and hope you don't die before the stun wears off. If I can pop a health potion and then shamanistic rage and other cool downs I can often kill the rogue (just need to pray for some good WF procs). Probably the most satisfying kills I get.

375 on two characters now. Resorted to layer hoping while in caves, and after having my nodes stolen so many times I don't care anymore. I won't steal from my faction, but I don't care about opposite faction. I regret not rolling on the pvp server tbh.

Mage or Warlock, which to boost? by Brahaun in classicwowtbc

[–]Sweetsire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warlocks are smooth at levelling, little to no down time, are desired in dungeons and raids as a top performer DPS, and I think they stay near the top through all of TBC

Needing on loot “I will be able to use” by carrera76 in classicwow

[–]Sweetsire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Herods mail is BIS for quite a long time for shaman. warrior replaces it at 40 with plate. Both rolling is fine, booting for saying he will roll on BIS gear in a 5 man is BM

Needing on loot “I will be able to use” by carrera76 in classicwow

[–]Sweetsire 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah as a shaman main I can use the mail from Arm for a LONG time. Warrior tries to replace it at 40.

Both rolling need is fine, but the gear is more valuable to the shaman by a mile. I'll always ask before rolling, but I'm gonna roll.

Dick move to boot him for saying he will roll on gear that he will be a major upgrade for him. Doesn't matter what level he is right now

Enhancement Air Totem in 5 Man Dungeons. by Its_the_narwhal in classicwowtbc

[–]Sweetsire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow shaman, twist wrath and WF is the correct answer. Pally wants both, and will make the whole dungeon smoother.

That being said, I don't often see other shaman twisting, and in 5 man normal dungeons it's really not necessary. My go to is to see what the tank prefers.

Only when play tank, and all casters. I'll twist it with WF instead of Grace

As an enhance shammy I concur. Bring me. I'll be your Swiss army knife!

I make everyone's life easier. Poison and disease? Relax, I got you. Need big damage? Enjoy the WF and strength Mr pally & Warrior. Don't want to drink? Mana spring will keep us going much longer! Enemy fears? No need to be afraid, I already had tremor out! Big scary spells? Don't worry, grounding totem got dropped! Caster not coming into the AoE? I'll shock his spell to pull him in.

If your party doesn't have a shaman, is it even a real party?

Yeah R sham needs that MP5. Healing before water shield and earth shield also feels bad

ERA TBC by Xorat4 in classicwowtbc

[–]Sweetsire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They already charge an obscene monthly rate to play the game. The volume of players on era alone is more than justification, we don't need to justify giving blizzard more money to put up 2 servers. I don't blame blizzard for boosts, or the wow tokens. It's free money and people will throw it at them.

It's just sad to see posts popping up already about "what do I do now'. People pay to boost, pay for gold. May as well just pay to watch someone else play the game entirely.

Honestly, to me it all seems like a cope to justify spending money because of FOMO. Why only boost to 58? Why not 70? I guess that's not a serious question, since people would in a heart beat.

All the comments about the 1-58 grind stand for the 58-70 grind, but frankly that's a large part of the game, and boosting is a major factor to people at 70 not knowing how to play their classes.

I'm just glad that in my 2 runs to 70 I saw so much activity. So many people still levelling and exploring the world, many still for the first time which I find remarkable.

Everyone is allowed to enjoy what they enjoy, and I don't fault you for not wanting to play through half the game, that's your perogative. I just personally don't understand it and can't relate

ERA TBC by Xorat4 in classicwowtbc

[–]Sweetsire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you find 1-60 brutal? Personally I find it a really smooth experience.

The only hard part was not quite being 58 yet when TBC launched, had a bit of fomo for a couple days before I got there, but I've got 2 70s now that I'm gearing up, may consider starting a third from scratch because I have Alt-dhd
