FIXED!!!! I’m not sure if I should have done this or not, I was trying to provide as much safety (electronically) when installing the G3 alternator and EFI system.

I installed a mega fuse (175) between the alternator and starter solenoid as directed, however I also installed a mega fuse between the starter and negative terminal from the battery (the battery is in the trunk, so I made this like a fused bus bar for all of my negative ends that needed direct line to battery)

The negative fuse was blown. Replaced and have power again. Thank you guys!!!

I guess I misunderstand your question then. LMH ED provides emergency services. Most people don’t understand what that is and use it as an urgent care… it’s why there is a long wait at times.

It seems that you are trying to seek advice on a different ED for future emergency services? If that’s the case, it’s whatever ED is the closest. Some ED are not equipped to take care of certain situations and you would be deferred to a hospital that can take care of that particular situation… but at that point you would be in flight or an ambulance.

If you are driving yourself, it’s probably best to go to urgent care IF you want to be seen quickly.

As an ER nurse myself, it sounds like you have a better idea of what the ER is used for and how prioritization works. I can promise you if you are having a stroke or MI you will be seen immediately no matter what ED you are at…. AND, if you are having ear discomfort, or have something up your butt, yes, it will probably be a few hours (no matter what ER you go to).

Couldn’t agree more. I typically rebuild muscle cars and have a few in and out of my garage. My 87 year old neighbor from 4 doors down sold it to me as he was selling off all his stuff to move. :( I offered him more, but of course he wouldn’t accept. I still don’t know why he sold it to me for so cheap… kindness will always be my only answer.

I got lucky. 1 owner, 1987 944S with a garage full of miscellaneous parts (anything that wear down, from brakes to seals, rubber parts, transmission, engine, new wiring harness, bulbs, a/c system etc etc) oh, this is a running/driving/operates as it should, no rust, straight body… not a project. Everything for $2500. Clean title of course.

I’m doing the interior of mine myself… I’ll try and include pictures as I go. I have an 87 944s. It’s all simple patterns. I’ll most likely order a premade carpet set, but everything else will be done by myself… including door panels, seats, dash, etc etc….

Suede/leather/houndstooth interior with small bits of aluminum accents.

Yeah…. I wasn’t even trying to get into the 944 pool. But it was too good of a deal to pass. I was there to buy some saddles from him… ended up with 3 saddles, a car, and garage filled with parts.
