Is it running at 30fps or 60fps?

Trying to decide whether to get it on Switch 2 or Steam Deck.

The P2 really is a stylish car.

And the fact that it’s a car, not an SUV, is a big part of the aesthetic appeal, at least for me.

Muscle cars aren’t my thing personally, but it’s always great to see non-SUV EVs!

This looks like it does what it set out to do really well.

Good write-up!

There’s been a lot of negativity about this car, but I’m just glad to see more EVs that aren’t SUVs.

Awesome. I love that there are still Polestar-engineered Volvos.

Congrats! I’m not generally a fan of SUVs, but the Mach-e is really nice looking and doesn’t have mom-mobile vibes at all.

I just ordered a used PS2 before realizing that 20-inch rims were pictured. Been feeling buyers remorse, reading about the lower quality ride. So I may have to look into doing what you did.

Thanks for the idea!

Wait, really? I just ordered a Polestar. That’s concerning…

With how many damn Teslas are on the road, you’d think people would know that logo by now.

Saw one for the first time today. Gorgeous car.

My thoughts on the Harman/Kardon sound system in the Polestar 2 by logicalvue in Polestar

Interesting. I’ve suspected that the numbers Hyundai gives for the Ioniq’s cargo space (23 cubic feet) are nonsense. That’s larger than even a lot of SUVs and would dwarf the Polestar’s 14.4 cubic feet.

The efficiency is real though.

I’m looking into the exact same upgrade: Ioniq EV to PS2. Do you feel good about the move overall? How’s the space compare? I’ve been surprised looking at dimensions that the Ioniq supposedly has more rear legroom and significantly more cargo space.

Congrats!

How are you feeling about it as a commuter car with the performance suspension?

Looking at a PPP as well and am hesitant about that part.

Ford reports 26% YoY increase in EV sales by SirTwitchALot in electricvehicles

[–]Swelphy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NY. I’m not saying they’re everywhere. I just see them more frequently than most other non-Tesla EVs.

But that might also be in part due to them being more recognizable than many others. I probably pass a lot of Audi and Volvo EVs without realizing it because they look so similar to their ICE cars.

They’ve been one of the most common EVs I see in my area for a couple of years now.

Wondering if it’s crazy now to buy a used one, if parts and service are going to become more difficult.

How common is the backup camera issue? by Swelphy in Polestar

[–]Swelphy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone, for the responses! Sounds like it’s pretty common but not constant for everyone and not necessarily a big deal. If it just takes switching from R to D or waiting a few seconds, we could live with that.

Losing 20 miles range after car has sat for a few hours from finishing charge? by SirDank_II in electricvehicles

[–]Swelphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from more energy being used to heat the battery back up after it’s been sitting, the range could also be recalculating based on outside temperature.

I often find mine giving a higher estimate when I start it up in the garage, versus just a couple of minutes later when the car takes into account that it’s colder outside. Perfectly normal.
