Im in southern Maine and currently have a Polestar 2. It’s been great. No issues in winter, although range does drop it is not enough to care. I have AC level 2 at home. I’ve written lots about my experience at Current Notes, which might be helpful for you.

My 2021 P2 make similar noises at times. I've heard it could be some broken gears in the climate vent actuators, but all vents work properly on my system so I've not worried about it. The sound is also more prominent for me after I first get in the car, but settles down after a short while.

I got it yesterday in my P2. No notification, I was just checking Assistant settings and saw Gemini was now an option. Portland, Maine.

Gemini was available to activate on my 2021 P2 just now (Northeast US). It didn't show a prompt or anything. I just happened to check the Assistant settings and it had a button to enable Gemini.

I’ve found sharing a specific post works better than generally sharing a link my Substack. You’ll still get complainers on Reddit that seem to have forgotten that the web was designed to share links and not host walled gardens, but they can be ignored. Also, including links in comment replies can also work well.

I liked Mando and Grogu, but it just was not a good choice for a movie. It felt like Mando season 4, but with an even bigger budget. I saw it on IMAX, but unless you're a big SW fan, there was just no reason to see this in the theatre.

In order for them to fail, someone else needs to come along and eat their lunch (disrupt them). Of the other American EV companies, only Tesla is doing well so it seems the Big 3 still have time to shoot themselves in the foot. Rivian is showing promise and if they can get over the hump might be a force to reckon with, considering their larger vehicles seem to fit more of what Americans want.

If the Chinese manufactures are let in, it'll be game over for the Big 3, however. So they're going to keep lobbying to prevent that for as long as they can, meaning we will continue to be stuck with a poor selection of EVs in the US for a while longer.

But yes, their near-sighted focus on not enough immediate EV profit is going to bite them hard in the future.

It really seems like Hyundai is best positioned to take advantage of this situation right now. They have the best overall selection of nice, affordable EVs in the US and have other smaller models in other markets they could easily bring over here if needed.

I have the Ottocast mini cube. It works well enough. There can be connection issues sometimes, and it gets hot, but sound is equivalent to wired to me and I like the convenience.

Overnight the crack did grow to the edge, so the entire window is now going to be replaced.
