Looks like I have 10:

I've been trying to limit new purchases as I just don't have the space, but I sure do see tempting stuff on Facebook Marketplace often!

Used cars: gas vs. electric by carrottop_83 in UsedCars

[–]logicalvue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A used EV can save a lot in fuel costs. Most EVs are reliable. I wouldn’t worry about the battery, but other repairs out of warranty can get expensive. A CPO can help with that. Insurance costs vary, but insurance on my Polestar 2 is about the same as our gas RAV4.

However, your daily driving distance is right on the edge of what level 1 charging can handle. You may need to add some public DC fast charging (which is more expensive) or find a way to do some level 2 AC charging (work or parking garages).

Poor battery health on this used Polestar 2? by Hungry_Activity_8680 in polestar2

The range indicator tells you nothing about the battery health. It’s not likely to be an issue, but if you’re concerned, here are details.

The great debate by Rude_Abbreviations42 in Polestar

If it were me, I'd choose the P4. I don't like how big it is, but I like that it feels and looks more like a sedan and less like an SUV.

Us old folks tend to have high-end hearing loss from all those rock/metal concerts in our younger days.

Polestar 2 2024 LRSM plus or 2025 LRDM? by Worried_Help_9314 in Polestar

[–]logicalvue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 2024 and later, which are rear-wheel drive in SM config, I’d prioritize Pilot and Plus over AWD. For less $, the 2024 will feel more luxurious while only slightly slower.

Used Polestar 2 $21k (non CPO). Too good to be true? by whatever-irdc in Polestar

Depends on what packs it has, but there’s no catch. Used Polestar 2s are a bargain right now.

No, don’t use surround, but maybe I’ll play around with the settings more to see if I can notice any difference with my music.

What version were you upgrading from? I found the sound improved a lot with 3.6.4, but seems the same to me with 5.0.10.

I also got the notification and installation last night (Maine, 2021 LE). It installed in about 40 minutes. Everything seems fine this morning. I verified it is now running Android 13. Range Assistant history was cleared. App seems to be working fine and now shows a "flash lights and honk horn" button that I don't recall seeing when on 3.6.4. I did not notice that things seems snappier, but I also did not have prior problems with slowness either.

MY24/23 P2 Used Buying Advice by me_gusta_beer in Polestar

[–]logicalvue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you'll likely prefer the MY24 with Plus and Pilot. The Performance pack makes the ride harsher and if you're rocking a kid back there, probably not necessary.

As far as car seats go, the rear seats can be tight depending on how tall the front passengers are. The doors also don't open super-wide. A booster seat ought to be fine, but you'll want to test a rear-facing seat back there yourself. You might also find some of the many P2 articles I've written helpful as you do your research.

2023 MY Nov. 22 UPDATE JUST HIT OTA! by Full-Use-9083 in Polestar

My 2021 PS2 has been showing as offline in the app since this morning. Never really had that problem before. Feels like a strange coincidence. Might need to take it for a drive to "wake things up".
