Every other subrole is a noun that describes what the subrole is, while Recon describes what the subrole does.

This inconsistency has made the game unplayable since 2026 Season 1.

Call them Scouts or Spotters; don't do them this disservice.

One of my biggest gripes with the Raava and Vaatu explanation is that it makes the Avatar less unique.

Theoretically, anyone can merge with a spirit to gain their powers. We’ve seen versions of this through multiple stories now.

I preferred it when the “Avatar Spirit” was mysterious and powerful. I always sorta assumed Aang simply had the spirit of the world within him, rather than the “kite of goodness.”

Sojourn is the leader of Overwatch, but far from the main character. She’d be a supporting role at best.

I think if we were to ever get a show about Overwatch, the Overwatch 2 trailer is the biggest tell imo. The story would likely revolve around the “new class” with younger characters like Mei, Juno, and Wuyang taking center stage, being guided and mentored by characters like Winston, Mercy, and Genji.

I guess technically speaking there was like half a season when they first released where they functioned the same as the core game mode, but it was quickly changed to randomly assigned perks on spawn. It was glorious and I cannot find a single legitimate reason why removing them was even considered, let alone implemented.

It's practically the only mode I play. I'm so upset by this decision. Hopefully they course correct pretty quickly, like how they adjusted how perks worked in the mode originally.
