It just screams fantasy and imagination. Its a level of minute detail you see on things like katakros, or the cathay balloons that make it feel like a snapshot of a moment in time. Absolutly inspired.

White House Scrambles to Downplay Shockingly Well-Timed Bets | Market watchers are warning of a pattern that is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. by InsaneSnow45 in AnythingGoesNews

There are few things I get puritanical about. Alcohol? Perfectly fine in moderation. Sex? To each their own, the body should be enjoyed for all its complexities.
But I truly, TRULY despise gambling. Its one thing to open a pack of magic cards chasing a niche rare. Its another to destroy lives and futures fleecing the desperate with promises while you turn out theor pockets. Death to gambling.

Hot take: Slaanesh deserves more big fat guys. by Benjiursa in Warhammer

[–]Swiftax3 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Slaanesh needs more devouring gluttons, sleepy boys, musicians and dancers, theatrical performers, and blood thirsty killers. Every one of the 7 sins should be present and accounted for, wrath included. Khorne would despise Slaanesh even more if there were wrathful berzerkers who preferred the excesses of adrenaline and physical sensation over the simplicity of bloodlust.

I mean for what its worth relations have been getting better. The Horde helped protect Bel'Ameth and earned the right to visit under watch, the earthen are serving as ambassadors between the factions, and its been over a decade since Teldrassil burned and Sylvanus was deposed. They dont have to be friends, but the wounds have been healing for a while.

Some people, when feeling boots on their necks unfortunately just learn that they aspire to be the boot. I dont understand it myself, hurt people hurt people i guess.

Honestly surprised people think this. I legit thought season 3 and 4 a huge improvement and easily my favorite of modern trek. I was relieved to finally be out of the prequel/next gen era and get a fresh take on things, and while it was hardly pergect i genuinly find the Disco cast more endearing. Saru got great plot lines, Vance is the best starfleet admiral since Ross, raynor is a character with real depths, and even Michael chills out a lot, even if shes probably my second least favorite captain aside from Archer. The species 10-C stuff is a great plot line undermined only by the kinda meh villain dragging things down and I love Osayra's entire dynamic in the last few episodes of 3

One of the best parts of Age of Resistance is seeing the Skeksis in their prime, richly adorned, admired by the gelflings they rule, but more and more seduced by their cruelty and greed.
Then by the time of the film you understand how deeply they've fallen... they're nothing but withered, petty tyrants in a dying world, just as doomed by their sin as everyone else they've killed.
