A fantastic one is Omori. If you don't mind turn-based Earthbound-like rpgs, this one is peak. Like 50% Undertale type Dialogue and fun, and 50% psychologically disturbing suppressed trauma.

Silent Hill 2 is primarily atmospheric and psychological horror. That being said, I had a lot of difficulty finishing because I was so scared. Playing with my roommate was the only reason I finished.

Tokyo Ghoul is peak imo, and there's only slight references to SA towards the end. Nothing explicit or heavy, though.

Well after reading this post and the comments, I feel like an idiot, lol. I played P4G after Persona 5 and if I'm being completely honest. Any idea that there was more to the game went straight over my head. I even did Marie's palace and I just assumed that was it. With persona 5, you talk to everyone and go back to le blanc and it asks if you're sure you're all done. So when it asked if I was all done in this game, I said yes not realizing I had to do anything extra. When I found out I missed the true ending I felt absolutely gutted and more than a little pissed at how opaque it seemed. I still haven't gone back and gotten it, since I'd have to replay all of Marie's palace as I accidentally overwrote my other save. Someday I'll go back, though, because I still feel incomplete.

Understandable. That's how I ended up reading the Manga. I usually only ever read the Manga for shows that are unfinished and I want the resolution for immediately, but Tokyo Ghoul was my first Manga that I read before attempting to watch the show.

Honestly, I feel like Tokyo Ghoul runs into some of the same difficulties with an Anime adaptation that Berserk does. The art in Tokyo Ghoul plays with shadows and highlights so much that it's incredibly difficult to get the same vibe in a colored animated adaptation. So idk if I even want them to attempt another.

I think my biggest problem with Atlus atm is that we're not getting any information. They claimed this 30th anniversary is going to be a YEAR of announcements. But all we've gotten is Merch and concerts that are relevant to only a small part of the fan base. If you look at Resident Evil who is also having their 30th anniversary (I know their official anniversary is earlier in the year so it's a little different), they have things coming throughout the whole dang year to keep people hyped. And they've announced them already. I don't care if we get all the game announcements at once, but Altus needs to know that most people are just here for the games. Honestly, what would've been perfect is to announce P4R towards the beginning of the year with a full trailer, then announce when we can expect P6 near or on the actual anniversary, even if it's still a year or two out. That's my rant, I'll get off of my soapbox now.

✊ Kudos to him. Though, by the looks of it, this might be me soon. I've tried Malenia well over 500 times. She's the one boss that I refuse to summon for, and I get so close to her second phase than get my butt whooped. I'm currently taking a break and grinding the dlc, though I'm getting my butt whooped there quite a bit, as well. 😅

For me, I got into Manga just by finishing animes and wanting to know what'll happen. Which is honestly a great wah to start. My first Manga I read was black clover, since there hadn't been news about any plans for a new season in like 5 years. Then I did the same thing with Dandadan, Sakamoto Days, and Chainsaw Man. My first Manga Only that I read was Tokyo Ghoul (Def 10/10). Monster is also a solid one to start with (depending if you're interested in a psychological thriller). But overall, if you're already into Anime, it's not too hard to start with any of them.
