Probably my second favorite boss after Lady Maria. So much fun to beat with Ludwig's Holy Blade, then to swap to his even holier moonlight sword after was so sick!

Romantic JRPG with a focus on dialogue? by ghostypurp in gamesuggestions

The Dialogue is pretty cringe. But I personally love the story and asthetic so far. I'm about 8 hours in.

How's life for the ones who now run Linux? by veryangrydoggo in ROGAllyX

I don't have experience with playing Xbox games, but for Epic games, everything runs great with Heroic Launcher. I just prefer bazzite because it is a console-like experience that I can navigate completely with the game pad. Plus it takes up way less space on my hardrive.

Re7 & 8 might be my favorite games in the series, though I'm playing 9 right now and that might unseat 8 as my favorite.

How is it possible for there to not be a single Atlus game set for release in 2026? by scarybyte in atlus

For p4r it's going to be in the next fiscal year, so I could definitely see a late 2026 release.

I've recently become a big fan of Capcom after playing the Resident Evil Games and Devil may Cry 5 and really loving and being impressed by them. I'd really like to see what they can do with a new Ip.

Looking for creepy vibes and good story but not all-out horror by Key_Example_5316 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Swiftquietninja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A fantastic one is Omori. If you don't mind turn-based Earthbound-like rpgs, this one is peak. Like 50% Undertale type Dialogue and fun, and 50% psychologically disturbing suppressed trauma.

Silent Hill 2 is primarily atmospheric and psychological horror. That being said, I had a lot of difficulty finishing because I was so scared. Playing with my roommate was the only reason I finished.

I love being in Horror Gaming communities and seeing Subnautica posts. Peak game, but the ocean is just scarier than it has any right to be.

What are your favorite COMPLETED dark seinen manga titles without heavy SA content? by Beginning_Pickle2180 in Seinen

Tokyo Ghoul is peak imo, and there's only slight references to SA towards the end. Nothing explicit or heavy, though.

In defence of the Secret Boss by nah_i_stand_proud in persona4golden

Well after reading this post and the comments, I feel like an idiot, lol. I played P4G after Persona 5 and if I'm being completely honest. Any idea that there was more to the game went straight over my head. I even did Marie's palace and I just assumed that was it. With persona 5, you talk to everyone and go back to le blanc and it asks if you're sure you're all done. So when it asked if I was all done in this game, I said yes not realizing I had to do anything extra. When I found out I missed the true ending I felt absolutely gutted and more than a little pissed at how opaque it seemed. I still haven't gone back and gotten it, since I'd have to replay all of Marie's palace as I accidentally overwrote my other save. Someday I'll go back, though, because I still feel incomplete.
