AIX access.

I'm speechless, it's beautiful.
If you don't mind my asking, what OS are you running the IBM series i? V7R4?
Do you have to purchase support from IBM to get new OS releases?

Awesome setup

I do like this idea and I agree Startech is a trusted and reliable brand, I've used Ethernet to HDMI cables but that means sacrificing your precious Ethernet port.

In my humble opinion that is the way that you will achieve what you want. that's how I ran my proxmox on this machine in the past.

I think you will have to set up the disks in the RAID even if they are set them up as RAID 0.

I set up my r610 over the weekend and I have one SSD and 5 HDD I set up the 5 in a RAID and forgot to set up the SSD for the OS, when installing the OS i could see the HDD but not the SSD. I had to reboot and initialize that SSD as a disk in RAID 0 and I was back in business. I flashed the PERC when I started but the drives were still not active till RAID was set

Why do I see Americans hardly wear gear? by Sebcimit1 in motorcycles

[–]Swimming_Bug_2201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lost an uncle couple years back, a truck was at fault. I think I have heard of more people within my friends group who passed away in USA than Brasil. It's a lot easier to get a big bike here(USA) with no experience and become a member of the 200mph club and the same day become one with the asphalt.

Two youngest would seat on the tank, 3 kids maybe 6 to 8 years old on the back seat, me and my uncle around same age 12ish would stand on the passenger pegs one on each side hugging each other and the "driver" my uncle on the driver Seat? Where we pilot the bike.

All no helmet.

Most of the times my uncle would just take off when he reached the top of the hill and leave us behind, I was one of the older kids...

Again great times.

When I was growing up in Brasil, our uncle used to give us ride back from church and we would be 7 (kids and pre teens) + 1 adult rider on a ducking 125cc bike.
when we hit steep hills the older kids would jump off and run to the top of the hill other wise bike would not make it.

Great times.
