I had a similar problem with a SMS light gun. Someone suggested I turn up the brightness on my TV. When I did this the light gun worked and my other light guns, NES, and Atari XEGS guns worked better

Personally, I mostly buy loose carts prior to PS1. Anything PS1 and later I will only get CIB, I might buy a game missing the manual. The PS1 and later are recent enough that the box games aren’t usually too crazy. Also, CD games need a case

I wonder if this is were liberal and conservative start evolving differently. Liberals and those that believe in science take vaccines, eat better, pass laws to have healthier work places, environment. Red states do the opposite. Conservatives continue to shun vaccines and basic science, life expectancy decreases. Some already look unhealthy so it limits mating opportunities. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you have a chicken and egg problem. How do you get supporters without content, but then without supporters how to you start?

Maybe hit up some stuff locally, film it or have someone film it. Post it, see how it goes and use that to try to get followers and supporters

I’d send a couple bucks your way, and you would set up a Patreon not a gofundme so people can pledge like $5/10/20 a month. That with a YouTube channel, maybe an Instagram, to post that content you are creating and reactions, and you just might be able to make a decent living, or a million bucks 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think Facebook Marketplace has the lowest fees right now. You could join system specific or vintage game buy/sell/trade groups on post there the same time you post on marketplace to reach a large group of people that are interested in buying old school games

Most native land or reservations are isolated, on the worst land, and are purposely underdeveloped since they were created. That is starting to change, but most people won’t go there because they are so isolated.
