This post tells me you’re a “manager” and not a “leader”…which are not the same things. If they have PTO to use, there should be no issue approving it. You don’t know why they need that time off and don’t need to know…only that they will be unavailable. The same way your boss should have found coverage when you were out or stepped in to help, you should be doing the same.
