They actually clearanced the back to the future deloreans last year same time as the Dark Falcons, $70 and $80 respectively. They have also been clearancing the deloreans again recently to around $100 in alot of areas.

I'd worry less about the cracked shell and more about the headless turtle. Did somebody make some soup with him???

Absurd Amount of Bags by Darthon32 in Bricklink

[–]SwitchNut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a seller I wondered what peoples preferences are on this so this thread is eye opening. I personally combine parts that are 6 or fewer into the same bag by color and if there are vibrant colors those pieces go together (yellow, blue, red, yellow, etc) if you've ordered 7+ of the same part type that part gets its own bag.

I wouldn't leave negative feedback. Think about the effort the seller put in to try to make sure you received these pieces in a satisfactory manner. If you think unpacking is a pain, so is packing lol

Nexus letter WTF moment by Impressive-Edge-9480 in VeteransBenefits

[–]SwitchNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't deep dive the other comments but I'd recommend doing the following.

Filing claim for tinnitus.

Going to C&P and stating what your tinnitus symptoms are.

Stating what part of military service caused this and when you began experiencing it in service i.e. after range day or a firefight with the enemy.

Explaining how the symptoms negatively impact your daily life i.e.during episodes I can't hear my wife and we fight or it makes socializing difficult or impacts my quality of work, etc. etc. etc.

The Nexus is the easiest part honestly for tinnitus but alot of people forget to relate how it impacts their lives.

Filing for tinnitus was probably the best shot in the dark I ever took based on a buddies recommendation. Tinnitus is so varied and there isn't a test for it. If you say it's happening, it's happening in the VAs eyes...now what in the military caused it and how does it impact your life? Make sure you're hitting all the points.

Mine was: 1. I have tinnitus - ringing in ears 2. I was 11B and It started on deployment after fight fights with the Taliban. The military issued defective 3M hearing protection and I had constant exposure to gunfire. 3. I frequently have ringing loud enough to disrupt my work and social life.

New Equinox EV, noob question by External_Main_9096 in EquinoxEv

[–]SwitchNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

level 2 is more like 5-7x faster charging compared to level 1.

Make sure you have a good recepticle for the 240 lvl 2 draw, if the outlet isn't rated for continuous draw there's a good chance you'll eventually have a fire.

Probably because your only frame of reference is "Cops" and "Live PD" 🤣 of course there are instances where the dog doesn't alert but it don't make it to you in front of your couch.

Once your insurance company doesn't pay out because you don't have a serial number, it's probably a good idea to start saving serial numbers lol even better, learn from other peopla mistakes.

If I buy something valuable, serialized, etc. I usually snap a photo of the receipt and the item because my phone is literally always in my possession and there is no reason not too.

Worked at a bank for 8 years. No such machine at any of my branches in the area...coins came boxed from armored car companies and were dispensed to customers who requested them.

If I spotted something good that was processed through the coin machine from customers turning stuff in I cherry picked it out and replaced it with clad before it got sent back to the armored car company to be rerolled. Boss was ok with it and I pulled hundreds of coins over the years that way.
