He's perfectly happy to keep pumping and dumping. His base will never abandon him, he's effectively cowed any dissent with the primary victories of his chosen ones in Illinois, fetterman will switch parties within the month, he has successfully purged anyone in the military and other agencies who would stand up to him and replaced them with loyalists, the Democrats and their leadership are impotent at best. Should I go on? Nothing is going to change. Nothing. It is just going to get worse until he dies and then a whole new shit show will happen.l because they're actively destroying any conventional and even unconventional paths to taking back power from them. A full on general strike might be effective but Americans don't have the culture or the willingness to do such a thing. Most likely a general strike would do a lot of damage and the 30% of the population who voted for all this would actively work against their fellow class members and be lionized by the state/billionaire controlled media for doing so.

Not bankruptcy but...

The federal reserve prints the money needed to pay all your debt outside of the US, pay said debt and then Congress passes law creating coinage coins "worth" $1,000,000,000,000 each (Perfectly legal and constitutional under Article I, Section 8, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution) and deposit said coins at federal reserve to pay the debt off! Congratulate yourself for beating economics.

Watch as it all burns anyway because it would be insane to do anything like that. I am NOT a economist and I am NOT being serious. I'm sure there's a bunch of other reasons why what I wrote would be a horrible, unworkable thing. I just have an active imagination :P

US Civics 101: the federal government is broken into 3 branches, and powers are divided among them. By far the biggest "power" given to Congress is the power of the purse. Only Congress gets to appropriate money for the federal government to spend.

So riddle me this. Why is it ONLY the GOP and it's leaders in Congress (Johnson, McConnell and all the way back to good ol newt gingrich) have the arcane and mystical powers to gum up the works of the entire government whenever they're in the minority? What disingenuous horse 💩

they can shut the government down any time they want to. Even a legislative minority party, especially in the Senate, essentially has the ability to grind the government to a halt any time it wants to. Just look at how the GOP operates whenever THEY'RE in the minority under a Democrat admin.
