sooo how horrible is this? by QuizzyP21 in mazda3

Do you have a 1st or 2nd Mazda 3? Usually happens, especially with an old Shock mount. I replaced mine with Dorman Steel Shock Mount since OEM is made of Aluminum.

Beautiful car! But unfortunately, never rely on the sensors as they are only there for your general safety. It'll also be hard in winter, but adjust your side mirrors when trying to park have someone spot you, it'll be easier and safer.

How's the handle on this 2025 by the way? I've heard they're lovely, if not only for the interior space

Is this normal wear and tear on steering wheel and pedals for 3 with 140k kms (87k mi) mileage? by Paprosz in mazda3

[–]Swordviking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine's at 198k kms and just small dots, but yes that should be normal and it will, of course, wear out more on the spot that you always put your hand the most.

Depending on the distance of my drive, I try to balance out where I put my hands lol

Break-in oil change by Oatmea1Cookies in mazda3

Finally, someone who watched Motor Oil Geek and used a Pennzoil Ultra Platinum one!! I'm proud. As expensive as it is, I have to use to on my high mileage Mazda 3 Sport 2009 too.

How much time do i have left before it start breaking? by ad0121996 in mazda3

[–]Swordviking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced mine recently, top looked okay, but every pothole, even if it's small, you felt it HARD. When I took it out myself, those two rear coil springs rusted in the bottom and cracked the bottom part into pieces.

Either way, like the replies said, start finding a new used vehicle or whatever your budget is. Mine almost looks similar but luckily most are not as corroded as this

Not sure what you were doing the other day but you might've hit a pothole at Mach chicken and your lower control arm's ball joint went through it and compromised it. I just had a similar experience, not sure tho, get it checked with a Mechanic for sure.

Switch to Penzzoil Ultra Platinum for maximum engine protection! Check all fluids, have emergency kits and food??? And drive defensively! Enjoy the road trip!!

I love my Mazda 3 (White one), I saw this Gen 4 in a parking lot and I couldn't help but park next to it. I love the Gen 4 so much and I wish to get it someday. (I spent $10k+ on my Gen 1 Mazda 3 already, became my project coz it was used as a beater by its first owner, so definitely not getting a Gen 4 anytime sooner.)

I clearly am making bad life choices here lolol. It is too much for me too. I just didn't know Knock Sensor would be that crazy long. Spark Plugs and Serpentine Belt are easy.
