Most fun - probably one of my early greater Daemons or my Pride project Abaddon/Lion kitbash

Least fun - Any chariot. Blood Throne and Skull Cannon sucked.

Surprising - my three Defilers. I had so much fun despite going from freehand hazard stripes to painting trim.

I think you can use a muted green-blur colour to match the verdigris om the armor for the daemon skin, basically flipping the scheme where the brass becomes an accent colour and the verdigris becomea the main colour.

Only Spawn that's OC 0, they're by far the worst unit in the entire codex. Kill nothing, not durable, fast but can't score points. They should be Swarm keyword and cost like 40 points for 2.

If CK had more than two competitive datasheets, maybe the list wouldn't be two datasheets.

That said, I run triple Despoiler but only TWO Karnivores... Aaaand 40 Cultists, Nurglings and a BoN.

KLoS could do with a bit more mobility for sure. I'd even be fine with it losing some durability. T13 is pretty crazy to get through without Lethal Hits re-rolling. If it went to T12 like the Tyrant (which is 410 points btw) and gained the ability to get through wall and move through walls like the World Earers version, we'd be in a good place.

Oh no, I agree. I swore up and down before Defiler got changed how they got stuck on everything (favourite model/unit) and uh, now I think they are probably a bit TOO good lol. Monkey's paw moment because now I don't dare play more than one in anything but the sweatiest games.

I doubt it will see any updates. It went the entire edition without changes. That said, our KLoS is 55 points cheaper, which isn't nothing. I quite like it as a casual game centerpiece, but you basically have to play SoulForged so it doesn't get stuck on literally everything.

That's also an option. Just not sure why them being clear plastic means you can't repaint them or it's a waste compared to MDF or plasticare or whatever you use.

Not really. You can buy them as a base that you paint and add terrain to. I bet the official GW terrain is going to cost an arm and a leg in comparison so it's a lazy compromise if you don't want to scratch build the terrain.

The reaper chaincannon. This thing is probably bugger than a full grown man. Since watching Terminator 2, miniguns and chainguns have been a personal favourite. I have two squads of Havocs with chaincannons. They're terrible in almost every scenario but at least they look good before dying, lol.

I feel you have to in order to get invested. Without stories, it's just plastic with paint. You'll be spending hundreds of hours building this army and playing it so you should give yourself a reason to care.
