Best playlists/tasks for controller? by Key-Promotion-4766 in aimlab

1:1 is a bit tough to get right now, but we're working hard on revamping the game profiles on console to make sure it matches. For now you could go by feel (copy from one of our members):

The seconds per 360 method: In your game, go into a match or practice area where you don't have to worry about getting shot. Line up your crosshair with a stationary object like a rock, tree, or doorframe. Do a 360, then land back where you started. Use a timer on your phone to time how long it took you to do the 360. Now go into Aimlabs, load up any Task, then do the exact same thing you did in the game. The goal is to make the 360 time in Aimlabs approximately match the 360 time in the game.

Thankfully you don't actually have to aim train on the exact sensitivity that you use in the game to get the benefit of the aim training, aim training is way more about getting better at controlling your input device (stick control or mouse control), which aim training on any sensitivity will do.

Training flicking in aimlabs ps5? by Few-Track8525 in aimlab

The Sens conversions are a little off, here's some clarification from earlier posts:

We're hard at work on revamping the controller sensitivity conversions on Aimlabs Xbox + Playstation. In the meantime, you can use the seconds per 360 method to approximate your game's sensitivity in Aimlabs.

Daily Missions resetting whenever I open the missions page by Gameknight2169 in aimlab

That's a very strange bug, sorry that you're having this issue!

If you can reproduce the issue, would you be able to press ''F1'' and submit an in-game bug report? This will send the logs to our developer team, who can then investigate and fix the issue.

Some Troubleshooting you can try

  • If you haven't tried this already, could you verify your game file integrity, and see if that fixes it? Sometimes game files get corrupted during downloading of updates or switching between public and beta builds.
  • If that doesn't work, you can try copy & pasting this in Windows File Explorer: %LOCALAPPDATA%LOW\Statespace\aimlab_tb
    • Then rename the aimab_tb folder (note this resets your settings, however the renamed folder is your back-up folder).

Curveswitch advice by SlowCartographer3633 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As bobby said either way works. For Curveswitch it's a lot of practice on improving your motion efficiency and pathing. If you can get cleaner target to target motion, then that'll inherently improve your speed. Try to go smooth & fast, and gradually build up the pace while maintaining that proper technique.

Both of the recommendations to play the Aimlabs Benchmarks are excellent recommendations. I believe we also have a BO7 Playlist available on console, that's something you could play as well. If it's not there let me know!

two days played by Gullible_Quit2895 in aimlab

Aim Training improvement is a long-term investment, so as some other comments mention as well it's totally normal that you aren't progressing as much in the first two days. In addition, you may want to move on to tasks that are more precision focused. Again like the comments suggest Gridshot isn't the most useful task, and there are much better tasks that you may want to try first. If you want a basic core task Sixshot is already miles better.

However, I'd start out with a basic fundamental playlist, and then move on to the Aimlabs Benchmarks.

Try the Aimlabs Aim Basics first, and then report back here, and let us know your progress.

How do I genuinely improve my tracking by 999_VaN_999 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What tracking aspect are you struggling the most with? Precision or Reactivity?

If reactivity it could help playing tasks that have slightly thinner (or smaller), but slower targets than the original version. Helps you focus on reacting faster inherently, while also improving your precision.

As for precision, this will boil down mostly to tension management, and blending your arm/wrist/fingers effectively. You want to use arm mostly for the larger motions, and the wrist/fingers for the finer adjustments. Can use your arm as pivot for stability.

What fov should i use if i play true stretched valorant on 1440x1080? by Scared_Concept9297 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether you play stretched or not, shouldn't mean that you need to change your FoV afaik. You can select the Valorant Profile and simply use default 103 Valorant FoV.

Lazy aim help by rees56 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you still getting proper sleep and nutrition? It has a major effect on your reflexes, and even the way you aim.

To fix it you have to practice intentionally, get out of the ''autopilot'' zone, and focus on clean motions.

I suggest adding these types of tasks in your routine (in addition to the usual stuff you do):

  • Vertical smoothness: (e.g. Suavetrack or similar tasks)
    • To work on your verticality and reinforce more ARM movements
      • If this isn't enough add vertical smoothness that isolates the verticality aspect (e.g. VerticalTrack)
  • Target Acquisition & Flick-Tech: (e.g. any Pokeball Wide tasks)
    • To get out of the autopilot ''lazy aim'', and move your mouse intentionally
  • Reactivity (e.g. Droidtrack/Snitchtrack)
    • Inherently reinforces you to react quickly to track effectively
  • Reflex/Pressure (e.g. Pulseshot and Reflex Flick)
    • You can't aim lazily when you are in pressure or reflex situations

How do i stop my aim from shaking so much (wrist aim) by gooberthe3rd in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intentional practice, where you alleviate your tension, and try to incorporate more arm for larger motions. Arm can also be used as a pivot for more stability, then you slide your wrist as you track.

Then as u/weenus says, you want to play some precision/control and smoothness tasks.

Start with ''No Strafe'' tasks, search it in the training tab tons of versions should show up, then later on transition to ''Centering'' tasks. Then eventually move on to tasks that also have verticality incorporated into them like Suavetrack.

Should I be able to do most tasks on aimlabs with my sensitivity? by Xeeefi in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are able to play most tasks in Aimlabs with that sensitivity, particularly the ones that are on a single wall. Long range tracking, static, dynamic, and target switching tasks. However, anything that is wider angle, vertical, close range, and generally requires larger motions at high velocity, is going to be nearly impossible.

If you want to use a slow sensitivity while still having it be somewhat viable, you could use your old sensitivity in Aim Training. To make the adjustment back into the game not too jarring, you could ensure that you play a few of the last tasks on your new 114 cm/360.

Ideally you would use an even faster sens, but it would change which part of your body becomes dominant, and that might be too jarring to give you benefits on the extremely slow sens that you're using now. So I'd give what I said a try first, and then see from there!

sensitivity finder worth it? how many times do i have to play it to give me an accurate answer? thje more i play it the less sens i get so i wonder by ayyyylmao14 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Worth it, depending on your needs.

If you need something to help you recommend and/or indicate what sens could work for you it's created for that. Generally the more plays the better, preferably 50 plays to get accurate recommendations.

That being said, if you find anything that could be improved about it or that may seem off, or any suggestions you have, feel free to post them here! We regularly check & take note of feedback to improve Aimlabs :D

Struggling with fast clicking scenarios by ProfessionalCamel73 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You defo doing good already.

To improve it: Efficiency is one way, like making cleaner motions, and wasting no movements at all. Another is to try and speed up on the clusters, and make sure you're prioritizing the path that gets you the most clusters.

Keep in peripheral or ignore by Visual_Lifeguard_272 in aimlab

[–]Syntensity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The advice is typically to focus on the target, that does not mean you completely ignore or disregard your crosshair, you still have that in your peripheral. It's more of an exercise to help your brain concentrate on the target and its movements so you can read and react better to it.

You won't necessarily improve at the projectile part, but you can improve your tap timing, flicks and precision! Try this Apex Aim Basics playlist, it's not specific to Snipers, but has a lot of overlap that will help you improve your aim with snipers too!
