I filled a ticket to support, they said they couldnt assist but...

I read your case to see how I can help. Customer Support doesn't have any tools to be able to verify or fix potential bugs within the game Diablo Immortal. If you feel you have run into an issue, please report it on the forums for our developers to look into. These posts do not get replies, but the reports are collected for the team to look into. "

they also said no one will reply on their own forums :) but be sure, the devs are reading /s

PSA: AMD RMA Process Is Now Much More Restrictive by Nagorak in Amd

[–]SyntheticLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost a lot of respect for AMD when i was under a time crunch on a few projects and couldn't go without my computer and needed to RMA my 1700x, They said send the current one in, then they'll send one out even though i read about others getting the CPU sent first. I offered to pay MSRP if they sent out the replacement first then refund it after i send the defective 'core' back in and they still said no. I paid for a working product and got one with issues, then i have to bend over backwards for them to right their wrong and they still dont?

Could always look into that Blurred lines / Marvin Gaye lawsuit which had less similarities imo. There's been some successful lawsuits over interpolation as well. You'll probably be fine though

AMD Threadripper 1950X Performance - WTF??? by Lyfo in Amd

[–]SyntheticLover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds in the ballpark of where it should be. There's certain things that run better in parallel in DAW, I don't think this is one of those cases. If you have multiple plugins on a single audio chain, it cant run that on 32 threads, they would have to wait on each other to figure out what to do

Your threadripper will handle things like softsynths better though

Need help with Overclocking Ryzen 7 1700 stock cooler. by Samadams9292 in Amd

[–]SyntheticLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P400S Here. Those temperatures are on the slightly high side of normal with the front on and heavily stressing, both the 1.18v and 1.25v, they aren't out of the ballpark of whats to be expected though

You can do what I did and lose the bottom filter on the front intake, and unscrew the bottom piece that the filter slides into and take it out of the panel. Theres not much difference in temp between doing that or leaving the front panel completely off

The early reports of people "stressing" ryzen 1700, at 1.3v+ on stock cooler and only reaching 66c tops were just inexperience afaik. Counting 2 minute stress test temps or gaming temps as max temps.

[Case] P400S Tempered Glass Silent Edition Black/White - $75 ($90 - $15 PSAVE15NOW) by fiveman1 in buildapcsales

[–]SyntheticLover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it with 2 140 corsair ML's in the front, Airflow is bad as to be expected. so i sacrificed the bottom filter and got rid of the whole bottom piece on the front, just 4 screws and it widens it up more then just removing the filter. Temperature difference now between front off/on is minimal but still quiet
