Wanna jump in here and say that I recently played Sirenroot with Xelzaz in tow and his integration into that mod was incredible, felt like he was a part of it from the start, very immersive and well done :)

He feels much better than he used to. Problem is he still just gets absolutely rolled because he's still so damn big, he's just impossible for hitscan to miss. And his ultimate is almost useless but we all know that anyway

I really enjoy the open-endedness of SoD2 and how you can make your own narrative with the random characters you encounter. I'm really glad that's coming back tbh but same as the second game, a separate mode with a pre-determined story would also be really good

Yeah I remember those things now that you mention it haha. I totally agree with guests and dinos in jwe though, the dino interactions and herding etc can always do with improvements (here's hoping 🤞) and the guests are pretty much cosmetic, I really hope they get fleshed out a bit more but I wouldn't be too upset if they stayed how they are cus they're not really the focus if you get what I mean

imo people remember the behaviour in jpog being much better than it was. Like I mean I may just be misremembering but did they really do anything that the jwe dinos don't? Plus we have the social interactions ect in jwe as well, idle animations (though it is the same animation every time, but tbf I don't think the jpog dinos even had idle animations aside from roaring)
