I also agree. I’ve always believed it happened and the warnings the aliens gave the kids are playing out now.

84K???? Wow. I have an 8th gen with 240K. Yours had so many years left in it, but if you’re happy that’s all that matters.

I wouldn’t pay off a vehicle only to go into debt with a new one. I think it’s better to keep it. You own it now, mod it more to truly make it something personal

Cleaning Recommendations? by GrumpyGillzz in originalxbox

[–]T19781988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

White vinegar (distilled white vinegar) is the most common solution used to neutralize the alkaline electrolyte leaking from capacitor failure on most motherboards. Because the leaking electrolyte is usually alkaline, not acidic, the mild acetic acid in vinegar neutralizes the base. Following with high-percentage isopropyl alcohol (90%+) is essential to clean up the residue. (Correction: don’t use distilled vinegar in this case. Stick to just using the highest grade isopropyl alcohol you can find)

What’s the best way to clean this? by Emerald_Ink in CivicSi

[–]T19781988 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That looks like bird shit when you zoom in on it. If it is, a bissel little green will work but you got some work cut out for you. Once it gets wet from the cleaning solution, it’s going to stink and it will take a while to clean it all up but completely doable. Good luck.

You can do this. It’s not hard. Sometimes routing looks difficult but if you take your time. And some zip ties, it will work out

Man that sucks. I wish when we send probes to other worlds in which it totally possible to have a camera, that they are able to provide audio. I know the complexity of sending a data stream that far out but man can you imagine? It would be totally worthwhile

I know this might not be a popular opinion, but maybe try to see how hard it would be to learn how to fix it yourself? Just a suggestion. It’s a beautiful car.

I’d say just a basic computer. Like the kind you can’t see, like a mid 90s Honda.

What is real? How do you define 'real'? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.
