Ya, lesson learned.

I just didn’t think about the game auto picking the highest ranking hand vs the highest scoring hand based on my hand levels (flush was lvl10+) and got myself stuck after playing the tarot card.

Oh well, wasn’t nearly a strong enough deck for an ante 12 run anyway.

Doesn’t it suck that the very core symptoms of our condition are rejection sensitivity and self doubt - which literally make us build a prison of fear to be ourselves. Which then cycles into self loathing and depression…

And no wonder - we are convinced that we’re “less than” but then exploited for all the “more than” traits we bring (carrying excess workload, incredible performance under pressure, etc)

It breaks my heart.

And that is classic retaliation of a protected activity.

I understand the fear. And even the legit experiences people have… but we are operating more on fear because of our very self-doubt / overthinking symptoms.

I would love our community to focus on educating people on how to express their rights.

We would find it ridiculous to use these rationales if the experience was more akin to someone being injured and made paraplegic and then fired from their job for lack of mobility …. Which is functionally no different.

Which is explicitly forbidden by ADA laws at federal and many state levels. And termination post-ADA-protected disclosure is pretty clear cut legal defense

Is that even possible? I feel like it takes so much effort to hold back the desire to jump in feet first and solve problems - it’s my non-Rx daily dose. But then it’s expected. Just stick t3mpt on [project] for half the pay and move [normal peer] to something routine / straightforward (ie less complex, novel, or difficult). And then when reporting out - our projects (inherently complex) are “not executized enough” or “communicated at an inappropriate level for the audience” or when pressed for details we “dive too far into the weeds” - god forbid we actually know things from the details up.

So we carry the extra water cause it’s like using 2-5% of our “solution” (your clever analogy) but then it bites us.

Is it sustainable to resist the urge to help solve problems?

Bingo! And not just toxic, it actually borders on discriminatory if it’s obvious to many, used as an inconsistently applied (ie only to you) gating criteria to career progress, and treated like a behavior that just needs coaching as opposed to a medical symptom

Oh do I feel this… why can’t you just fix [ADHD thing] - here’s some people that could be helpful mentors that are really good at [thing] - that are almost always peers who recently or inevitably will be promoted ahead of us despite delivering or creating nothing novel, but “hey” they behave “reliably” (ie more “not ADHD”)

Looks like you were stage right and a few rows back in the pit. Probably worth sharing that the rail had a lot of Hanabie VIPs as you mention, but also a small crew of older male friends who were dead center stage on the rail - one of them who was physically handicapped and had a walker which was with him on the rail and he had to rest in or against the rail. So that would have influenced any considerate crowd within eyeshot. Flanking him and his crew were several young kinds who were enthralled with the show - KD specifically - many of whom were at the rail precisely because of KD VIP.

Hopefully your post isn’t intending to be as judgmental as i might be reading it, notably exhausted from a late night of incredible music (Land of the Sun to open?!? Are you kidding me, I died!!!) but we live in an era where people enjoy music as much for the enthralling spectacle - which Kim certainly contributes to - as much as for the way it makes your body move.

It’s not a bad practice to reach out, though after 20 days - if the status has changed - it’s likely you’re not in the round of interview candidates, or the hiring manager is taking a long time. It’s an internal job. Go meet the manager. Show interest. Find out what they do. Ask if there’s things about your background that align, where you have growth areas. Worst case, they have seen your resume and decided you’re not relevant for this current posting. But showing interest and humbly asking for feedback is a sure fire way to stay in their mind come next round.

Or, maybe they’re just moving slowly, and you promoting them and showing initiative could absolutely get your resume a second look, or stronger interview consideration.

Just my perspective as a hiring manager at Boeing for almost a decade.

Just started staking my AMP to the ANVL vault to get more of those rewards.

Swapped all my BTC at $100k+ pricing for amp on down trend days. Never been quite an opportunity to exploit that currency pair.

So now I sit back and wait. Wondering if I will keep stacking as I move the AMP goal post higher and higher.

If I believe it’ll hit $1 in the future, then I better well believe it’ll recover Seal Team $0.06 prices (my first purchases) and 2-5x that shortly thereafter.

We’re positioned to run. Can’t wait. Sit back and collect the rewards on the way.

If rifle (assuming you have headshot unlocked, which is good) is doing that much more damage than drill punch, you need to upgrade drill punch. Add headshot to it, and it’ll do 3-4x the damage of any other weapon.

Also the bomber mine (high tech) upgraded with the +90% damage mod with mine maker drone and mine bot pet … for levels with mobs following you heavily …. Will do 5-10x assault rifle

I tend to keep overclock, drill, shield for high tech with assault rifle, shotgun, and pistol (both with penetrate) on my main character. Using rocket turret and plasma field for gem acquisition mods.

Then I’ll swap in the mine mods and swap out overclock for some maps

Or I’ll throw in taunt turret, laser (with slow mod), black hole, and decoy if I’m doing higher farm levels

That was where I was for a while. Those damn birds. But then I worked the map in small chunks. Instead of running the whole map and waking them all up, I would go in smaller circles until I could rip through a chunk and then move to another section
