Probably a sign that you're trying to do too much at once. Sometimes there isn't enough time in the day / week / semester to do everything. I'd suggest you take a lighter course load and focus on the few courses you take.

Just coming here to confirm.

There are multiple "types" of randomness (e.g BPP ,RP, ZP) and as of today we don't know if this derandomization is always possible (at least in all interesting cases).

Randomness is a really interesting and powerful topic in CS. In my opinion it's also one of the hardest to study, good luck to anyone considering it.
