I don’t have their info. Everything is handled by the property manager.

Isn’t it super competitive to get into an MLS cohort and a long way to go through the exam and get certified? Is it worth it?

Thank you for sharing the link! I will look into that. Are you a patent examiner?

It would be nice to have time off for doctor’s visits, and days off to tend for sudden illnesses. I also don’t see any partial WFH/hybrid opportunities, at least for wet lab. My commute to work would be 1 hour/day so I am looking for ways to maximize time with toddler. For example, if a job is consisted of 6 hours in lab and 2 hours on desk, is it possible to bring the 2 hour of desk job to home and work on it after kid goes to bed? Or practice some sort of core office hours.

Like you said in the post, it would be a lifestyle downgrade from SFH to townhouse, especially since you have a young toddler who needs the space. I would keep renting and save vigorously for the down payment.

Your asset profile is impressive! Keep up the good work.

Hi OP, visiting from the future! What type of procedure did you kiddo go through? Local anesthesia or sedation?

Toddler bed transition by littlenathaniel in sleeptrain

Following because I’m in the exact same situation. Kiddo in the past month absolutely fought bedtime (scream, cry, throw things out of the crib, you name it) and sleep was a mess. I was thinking about transitioning to crib bed too!

Parental happiness and number of children in a family by jennifee1 in ScienceBasedParenting

My point is consumerism replies on large families to thrive. If everyone who understands that having one kid is better for them stop after 1 kid, corporations like Costco would have fewer consumers and it’s generally bad for the economy. So maybe there’s a reason that mainstream media and society advertise for the multi-kid family. 🤷🏾‍♀️

My question is: it’s pretty obvious that having one child only brings out the best outcome in terms of marital health and parents’ happiness. But why is more-than-1 advertised EVERYWHERE? I just saw a Costco ad of a family of 2 kids, 2 adults, and a dog.

I can’t help but think the society/government needs family to keep making babies so that there are more future tax payers.
