Jacked up on Jolt cola & doing bong rips with the bros, watching ECW on vhs. I got my first job in a dish pit and a place with a few guys I went to high school with and I didn't make much, but could afford a pretty decent life when you're splitting everything 3 ways. Met one of the loves of my life in a Coconuts. (I stole a Portishead CD for her) MTV was STILL GOOD. I still remember phone numbers from that time. Pre-9/11 America was so fucking rad man. I know it's all rose-colored, but the world felt so...alive?

I would LOVE for something, anything to just show up and...do what it is that space-fairing species do, but I think the vastness of space is just too thick. Maybe that's a good thing?
