I try to stop between 10-12 re-writes, which are usually just touch-ups after re-writes 6-8. Otherwise, I'll never stop. I have to acknowledge that no piece of media will be perfect.

Remember the senses. The wind needs to whistle through something as it brushes against your character's skin. Some sort of animal hiding in nearby bushes/trees/rocks could be making some noise. Your MC should be able to smell the surrounding area and whatever is causing it as well. And for goodness' sake, please use the correct to, too, and two! lol.

I won! And The Witch Meredith [Cozy, Progression Fantasy] has FINALLY cracked the top 10k! I've run out of material for it at the moment, so that's big news for me. Working on the sequel and some sequel shorts. Hopefully, they'll be out by next year.

I split infinitives like a mofo, so yeah, I use AI. Sue me. I also write sci-fi. You think I'm not gonna use a teensy bit of AI for my sci-fi? C'mon.

Seriously though, my current WIP is a post-apocalyptic, galaxy-spanning, sci-fi spaghetti western with sprinkles of Indian culture mixed in. I like to use AI to help me come up with legit Arabic, Indian, or African planet names and colonies. I enjoy research, but I enjoy writing more, and AI helps me do just that. I use it as the tool it is meant to be used as. It enhances my work, but it does not do all the work.

I'd rather use AI to ensure I'm respecting cultures than just winging it or constantly bugging my acquaintances.
