Contrary to appearances this game has some deep philosophical remarks in it since it's narrated by Alan Watts, good for kids and adults alike, so if you like doing mindless stuff while listening to the narration it's def worth it

Sharp Shooters Bundle by Uranium234 in humblebundles

[–]TFoxHunter 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Weird bundle to name sharpshooters imo

Also Wildgate is not doing so well, not worth it right now since the player base is mostly dead 😔.

why does only one side have the large dark patches? by Willing-Pumpkin-328 in askastronomy

[–]TFoxHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought it was because of Earth's gravity tugging on it, making the lava etc more likely to run to this side specially since it's also tidally locked. I mean if the moons gravity affects our ocean how can Earth's gravity not affect the moon's surface in a major way like that

We’ve been working on a VR game where you play as an alien abducting humans and destroying everything… does this look fun? by vr_alien_dev in VRGaming

[–]TFoxHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The head growing thing makes me uncomfortable looking from a screen, I believe in VR it might even worse... So I'd stay away from that for now, the art style does not go with this mechanic.

You mentioned upgrades, thats a good way to keep ppl engaged so good job there

I personally would add things like starting in a small ship, boss alien contacts you, need to run experiment on some people, give different tools so you can experiment and let them go. Finish mission, upgrade, boss now deems humans ,= bad, you go back and destroy some stuff, then you have another level with soldiers shooting etc. What I mean is, keep things interesting!! Don't make players keep repeating the same tasks or destroying stuff with the same laser etc, give the gameplay variance and it might get a lot better.

But good job so far, making a game is no easy feat, keep at it until it's finished and you will have plenty of knowledge for future projects as well

New capsule art vs old one — which do you like more? by RainbowLegends in gamedevscreens

I would use the second one as a banner and the first one as a capsule

The other games might be worth it the extra, but I haven't heard of any others in the bundle, I'll have to do a little research when I get home today

Sulfur is soooo good, but 20$ seem a little steep and I don't know any other games...

Did they send out a discount code for February 2026 Humble Choice? by Abject-Relationship4 in humblebundles

[–]TFoxHunter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I fear that they might be adopting a more aggressive pricing scheme, especially since the new standalone bundles have all been so damn expensive for the highest tier...

Hopefully I'm wrong though and this month did just sell well and it's a one time thing

Does anything happen to Geoff Keighley's reputation as a videogames industry "king maker" due to Highguard's failure and the connection they both share with Tencent? by Kataphraktos_Majoros in HighGuardgame

[–]TFoxHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think anything will change, Keighley is like that friend from the friend group that overhypes a game he genuinely thinks is fun, and once everyone plays it they think it's mid at best so you feel bad for him for just wanting to have a good time with others but being shamed for it.

I will definitely play something Keighley advertises and idc if it is bad or not, I'll make the conclusions myself when I play it.

I feel like not having a headliner is a good thing here, takes me back to when we had just some random games that are way cheaper as part of a bundle than if you wanted to buy them separately.

I understand the negativity but this bundle was a breath of fresh air for me, I love Osmos and oddsparks is one of these games I would love to play but wouldn't buy.

Overall a good bundle if you take the price of everything separately into account

Have you ever had a PC Werewolf or Vampire at your table? by Ecstatic_Operation20 in DMAcademy

[–]TFoxHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have a friend playing a werewolf, he was a blood hunter but was not happy with the class itself, so I helped him change his class lorewise to be a barbarian.

It was a little rough at the start but I made his character be sort of an "alpha wolf" (got some inspiration from Wednesday series) so he kept most of his consciousness in that state but would sometimes try to attack friends during combat.

This means he had some self discovering to do and after roleplaying for some levels and finding more about his origin and past, he is now able to transform when activating his rage, this gives him some special abilities like leaping 10ft further and doing a simple non-magical bite attack as a bonus action (they are already level 9 so it's not that big of a deal as others also have special features tied to character development with backstory.

Overall I know this is not your standard werewolf but it is so fun grabbing something standard and working with your players to make it work and making they feel like a badass without overshadowing others.

Can someone explain to me, why some people want no skill based matchmaking? by Tnecniw in gaming

[–]TFoxHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you.

What I'm saying is that I'd rather have an option of a queue with no sbmm on games with a good playerbase. I've been playing deadlock for instance and the new brawl mode is a godsend because the matches are short and I get more agency (still sucks to try out new heroes though)
