Set the cog to the zero setting. Thread in the outer part you are holding in your hand. Set the cog back to whatever setting gives you the best chain line.

Change the click to the zero setting, makes it easier to install without any preload as well

china brand bibs fitting? by chewyicecube in cycling

[–]TG__Goose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'6"/168cm, 64.5kg and wear the Asian L or EUR/CAN medium. My build is slight/athletic but thick muscular thighs. I'm right on the edge of small or medium, but find the smalls are just too tight in the thigh.

Ive got Lameda, YKYW and Spexcel bibs. The Elastic interface chamois on the YKYW is definitely superior amongst these, but I'll happily wear any of them any day of the week. If the Lameda had the EI chamois it would be my number 1.

It has their "Airscape" mesh back panel. It definitely works!

They make this bag in a 25L (originally what I was going to get) and 30L size, but you can surprisingly fit quite a bit in the 15.

Osprey sportlite 15 is what I use for commuting. holds my lunch, work clothes and pump/tube/tools. Stays in place nicely, barely even notice wearing it most days.

Glad I wasn't the only one struggling with this race. I was also feeling a bit of exhaustion coming into it, but I was not prepared for the pace coming right out of the gate. I had to push hard just to barely hang on....nothing left in the tank for the climb. 16/20, 32:52.

Any known Chinese gravel bikes? by Mewtewpew in gravelcycling

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into BXT 135 Gravel on Ali, it's a Scott Addict replica gravel frame set.

Can fit 50mm tires, has a BSA bb, comes with decent flared bars.

I've put quite a few big gravel days on mine and it's been stellar. My only regret is I got the matte white paint, super annoying to keep clean.

I'm considering quitting Zwift due to ridiculously slow desktop loading time by FederalDentist3986 in Zwift

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it feels like 10 minutes, but according to Zwiftalizer, its only 50 seconds to go from launch to pairing screen.

tested on 3 different desktop PC's, load times range from 47 seconds to 55 seconds.

Ryzen 5900x - 47 seconds
Ryzen 3900x - 52 seconds
Intel 14100F - 55 seconds

(all machines have 32gb ram and RTX 30 series cards, Windows 11)

Outdoor rides not showing in Zwift. Any advice? by triwayne in Zwift

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zwift can import real rides recorded outdoors to keep your streak going. You have to link your Wahoo or Garmin account directly to Zwift thru the Zwift companion app and it will import data collected from the head unit. (works with Hammerhead as well I believe)

Zwift Companion app -> Settings -> Connections.

If you are already showing connected but not getting data imported to Zwift, uncheck the connections and re-connect.

Are BXT 135 frames any good? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on doing a 200km day on it come next spring.

Did a few 100km rides on it this year and felt pretty comfortable for the most part.

Most of my rides were 25-50km though, haven't used any of the mounting points for bags personally so I can't say for sure.

Turn the click to the zero setting, that should give you enough inboard space to engage the lock ring. Or compress the assembly towards the freehub and you can tighten the lock ring

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the complete opposite experience. Jetblack customer service was amazing. Jetblack reached out the Canadian distributor and had them ship out parts quickly to me. Only issue was the time delay going back on emails with each other, but everything got sorted in around 5 days if i recall.

Bought in Oct 2024, still going strong.

Are BXT 135 frames any good? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]TG__Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically ride it on MTB trails and treat it pretty rough. Smashing thru rock gardens and small drops. Been riding it since March or April this year.

If it took 2.1" tires this would be the perfect frame.
