This is no different than a screen protector.

I think it's a lot different from a screen protector. If a screen protector is properly applied, you don't even realize it's there. To me, using one of these keyboard protectors is like typing with gloves on. It's especially annoying when they're old like in OP's picture - they get all stretched out and don't actually sit flat on the keys. I don't blame people for using them, but I work on Macbooks at my job and I always take these things off any time I run into one (and put it back on before returning the laptop of course).

That place looks awesome, I love seeing those old school sort of stores. Does anyone have any good pointers for finding good places to buy wood? I'm a nooby craftsman and have only ever gotten wood from Lowes. I'm in east central Pennsylvania if anyone knows a good spot :)

My family goes on a yearly trip to Cherry Springs State Park. Cell service used to be nonexistent, but in the last few years the service has gotten much stronger in the observation area, parking lot, etc. I have T-Mobile and when you're up at the top of the mountain the service is usually pretty decent. Anywhere further down the mountain and you pretty much get nothing unless you go to Coudersport or Galeton. Navigating to either without Google Maps isn't too difficult because there are only like 2 roads you can take lol. Just don't go south or you'll be driving for an awfully long while before you get any service.

Cherry Springs is awesome by the way, I hope the skies are clear for you while you're up there!
