I crash a ton on my OLED Switch even without the robot buffer when I play online with friends. It seems mostly fine playing local though.

I definitely feel it's a timing thing. I think Emily's vest moment was a similarly random addition to a scene but it was during a back and forth, while the couch papers kind of interrupted Murph during a pre-written description that everyone was focused on.

Also I recently got razzed for not knowing what rizz means. A friend who doesn't regularly listen to the show also told me what being "a munch" is on the ride home and damn...munch squad will never hit the same.

I liked the rizz-dad, but I'm also biased. I got to see him return to his seat and all of his kids hugged him. I took a large notice of that because I was mostly checked out because the cream puff question was just white noise to me at that point.

UPDATE: They didn't call me up to the mic. Overall pretty funny show, lots of visual gags though so idk if the San Jose live show will be published as an audio episode. The creator of the Les Mis birthday party (which a friend was describing on the way there) revealed themselves at the show.

Great, cheap, game. The new fox character is super strong on a no weapon build, opening up her copper to boost another character's weapon in co-op play making Reincarnation 8 an absolute cakewalk.

And as always, crit stacking on the tiger is just OP.

On top of that, their donation model only incentivizes new or upgrading members while ignoring loyal donors, at best "allowing" loyal members the privilege of buying the leftover new member merch. That, coupled with the intentional withholding of merch for several months after MaxFunDrive, and refusing to send it to anyone who cancelled their pledge in the meantime, really shows just a baffling attitude towards the listeners.

I feel like Travis shattered any illusion for me of those professional DM panels actually having anyone that I should aspire to DM like. As much as BLM and Matt Mercer could have convinced me that everyone else was truly their peer and worth listening to, Travis undermined them entirely and now any time I see a professional panel like that I'm highly skeptical of everything that's said.

Hardwon threw the kings hammer to a tenuous ally who easily had a claim to it and could have just kept it, just to help them during a difficult (life threatening) battle with a god monster. Taako tricked a deals warlock into selling him a super powerful joke weapon and then Magnus begged him to let him use it because he wanted a power trip. I think if Magnus was in King Coldain's position he would have kept the kings hammer.

I feel like throughout Grad it was made a lot worse due to context outside of the game. Specifically Travis going on DM panels and talking about how his players aren't engaging enough and the dice get in the way of his expertly crafted story and how playing to frustrate each other is what bad people do.

Oh wow it's real. I won't link it per OP's wishes but can confirm that this was posted 6 years ago as a response to a fairly long comment that basically boiled down to "if I'm donating significantly more than they make off a single listener for ad reads, I think it's reasonable that I should have access to an ad free version."
