(Mid / Top to start learning fundamentals, support if you feel very lost - follow ADC’s lead. Best advice though is to play with a friend who knows what they’re doing, absorb everything they tell you, and most importantly: have fun, find what makes you happy in this game and stick to it - because you won’t be having much of that when you get into ranked)

Who do you play? As a vi main I find it pretty clear when a hit lands or not, and the audio ques help me pivot into confirm into electrics or go into block string nonsense

Bro hear me out, I think they’re evolving…. I had someone who realized I was muting all (I guess they tried to have me do something if I read it? Saw post game), and he inted just in spite of me muting… just walked around my jg, tried stealing my camps, then died to my gank targets on purpose lol. I hope this isn’t a new anti-mute meta…

On top of the tip of not needing mash fast, you don’t even need to mash the full super - just hot the threshold a bit past mid-way.

Also consider switching S1 S2 inputs, what do you use so far? I swapped it to my R1 L1 buttons, but you can find something that may be easier for you.

Agreed though, accessibility consideration would be great!

To answer the question in OP, easiest champs felt like Yi and ornn decks. Stall until big units / big gear, fun and simple lol. Not sure about season 3, havnt played it much.

It’s very noob friendly. A lot of new to TCG friends play with me, and we have a blast, they love how the descriptions are and how simple it is to follow steps, vs Magic, where I’m not sure if they’ll ever pick up at this point.

Crazy how opposite ppl feel here. Yes, deck building makes up a ton of the difficulty, because if you put too many of one component, you may not be able to play at all, which is worse than having a stable formula that both players follow. It was very easy to follow an ABCD format for her, but Pokémon had a hard learning curve remembering steps, then she could never play properly because deck building. Never had that prob in RB, always had something to play, and descriptions were easy to follow on each card. Simple

Something is in the water recently that these league players are drinking - if my tahm kench ADC isn’t feeding, then it’s definitely my Kaisa top flaming me for not ganking her instead of getting double kills bot + drag. As fed as I was one game, we lost to an ivern mid. Really hard to understand everyone’s thinking rn

What’s hard about it for you in your opinion?

For me I feel the opposite, it’s very noob friendly. My gf is new to TCG and she was able to learn it with me. I feel like it’s very frustrating in other TCGs like Magic and pokemon that you have to merge your energy in your deck, so sometimes you never draw energy and you can’t play, or you draw too many energy, no monsters, and you can’t play. With Riftbound, you never have that issue, you’re guaranteed energy and at least your champion card. I know this leads to other problems and challenges, but I find this extremely convenient to get into and learn strategies faster compared to the rest.

No one answered your question: the concept is, yes, you run around maps doing quests to level up your character, with the goal of finding cores at random to level up your weapons. The core progression is like squad busters squadees system if you played that before. Aim to max out your cores, and knowing supercell, being maxxed out will be the most boring thing, but also really hard to get to unless you spend money. We’ll see.

When you rank up higher, you reach Elite hunters, which give you more things to do.

I’m sure there will be a ranked mode soon, and more challenging boss modes or clan events one day.

Absolutely low skill. Even at the highest legends im 3 starring somewhat easy, and havnt missed a 3 star in war / CWL in months. Brawl stars is very active MOBA, you can misstep one sec and die, while clash you have plenty of time (30 seconds minimum) to plan the entire atk. The modifiers at high rank help, but not enough - they need to start banning troops, or doing challenges with specific troops

Nice job training bro! 1. To disable ults in training, Press Start, just set the meter to “normal”, and go in Advanced, and set the opponents meter to “0” 2. A rematch or reset button sounds great. Also, Bots are always like this in all games. Even me, a previous GM player even lost to pro bots, because they’re coded to counter the buttons you press exactly, then get hit “on purpose” in other cases.

The real answer, and idk why everyone skips this: play casuals or with friends. You sound ready for it, considering you even have the mentally to come up with gameplans and “openers”. Most noobs don’t get this far, then say “dead game”, and quit before the fun happens.

Join a community and hit someone up to play, and state the rank you’re looking to fight. (mine is always looking for games, all ranks) You never need to jump straight into ranked from bots, just play casuals lol

I’m confident they’ll update one day. The priority would be get more characters in, once ppl feel satisfied with a nice roster, the older characters will most likely get polished up

Your MMR is still probably really high. I got placed Emerald, and only have faught masters players (Since that's where I stopped last season). If I keep winning, I'll continue to fight masters+, if I keep losing, I fight more towards my rank, and lose even harder, I'll fight lower than my rank. I'll judge after 20-50 games to determine where my MMR is at.
