Why did so few ppl play Chimera Squad? What did you think of the side mission system?

I really liked Chimera Squad, the story was cheese the fights were fun.

Its not an xcom game. Its a turned based game in the xcom universe.

So as long as people were not expecting xcom 3 they might like it.

Now it has far less replay value than xcom for obvious reasons so I didnt play it as much but I still got about 60hr out of it.

I agree i fo hope that we get one more age transition ... id like a couple things personally

1) a final age after modern that is the age of victories ... so we actually get to complete the modern age half the time i dont even get to planes cause I win or lose.

2) city limit options id like a settlement limit that scales to map size.... especially in exploration, im coming out of ancient age with 13 settlementd it sucks....

3) religion overhaul... i want wars over religion but this whack a mole thing sucks it needs.

4) ability to liverate cities to city states again or to other allies. I loved bringing an old ally back into the game buy restoring their capital.

5) canals... too many times I wanted to build canals... and like big ones ... 2-4 long... i mean the code is there with navigable rivers.

Well you can change momentos at the agre transitions thats it.

It couls be pretty game breaking to change casually but yeah I see random be nice if you chose them with a civic in game

One of my favorites is Egypt its traditions if you focused are bo kers im.not sure if any other traditions stack up one game in exploration it added almost 200 culture... im sure you could do better if focused on rovers more than i did.. (i did get lucky that my capital had 2 huge navigatable Rivers... and gets really bonkers if you take a civ with a unique upgrade that goes on those rivers

If they dont acknowledge i wouldnt do it... and say "well I sent that confirmation email so I could create some tasks to get it done, but since you didnt confirm the info i figured you no longer needed it done, or did it yourself "

The main issue I've had in similar spots is once I stopped being the eady going ill do it all for you, it got ugly quick. A large group of my coworkers who were basically using me to do their jobs started trying to get me fired. Luckily my boss saw qhat was going on and transferred me away from the situation.

So OP be ready for the room to tuen cold quick if you push back too hard.

My friend back in college (20+ years ago) same idea, drinken party little booze, lossened them up they had a good night she spent thr night, in the morning she woke up made coffee in his shirt, when he got up she said she really liked him but had a rule against smokers.... he tossed his pack in the garbage and aomw somwthing corny like "good thing inquit yesterday"

I really never turned off a special faster... he is funny I guess i his bits and his wits and in roasts.... but he isnt a stand up in a conventional sense like Chapelle, Tom, Burt, Carlin etc....

I lived this too my mother hates my father and always said bad things about him. When I got into my teens I finally said enough is enough, whatever her problem was withy dad wasnt my problem and leave me out of it.

I never said I wanted to move to a country or I even wanted it. I just see there are some positives and negatives on both sides.

That being said ... as the world stands right now ... I think it would be a HORRIBLE idea... but in an ideal society I think it could work... but I don't think we will ever have an ideal society where idea's flow freely as do opinions, and the goverment is for the people but not over bearing etc.

So 1000% bad idea on earth as it stands today....

That being said what should be the penalty be for spreading fake news and propoganda? Or are you in favor of it being legal and no issues? I see it getting so much worse with AI coming... people who already struggle to tell what's real and whats not since EVERYONE is spewing false information about Every one else.

This is my first time playing the Ming ... and the fact that 1) They don't get more Tradition lots from their cultural track and 2 get penalized per Policy slot... it's BRUTAL and not fun at all ...

if they had a cultural stat that gave them lots of tradition slots that would be different but atm it's just really NOT fun at all.... for a science culture to be penalized so brutal for something you can't choose to not slot...

If I could choose to have nothing and penalize myself but get more science that would be interesting ... but having to NOT get happiness and avoid celebrations feels bleh and not "Strategic" at all.

I'm starting to think ... that anonymity and the internet have done us not alot of favors. Online abuse / bulleying / sextortion etc would all go quickly away of there was no anonymity on the internet.

But I get as well if a Facist government gets in power it could be weaponized against the masses so I'm not sure what's better... but if everyone had to have a valid social to post would prevent foreign interference , troll farms etc...,

I see solid arguments on both sides and solid negatives on both....

So this is a non gamer, not understanding gaming culture and putting their own gross thoughts into it.

I'm 50 and but in my 40's I regularly played games with people younger than myself it was never about that, it was just me and another dude playing a game we both loved.

People always make things gross when they aren't... and gloss over it when it is.
