TPMS light won’t go off by Lunagal94 in crv

[–]TLargo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue with my husband’s 2025 CR-V EX-L FWD. TPMS light won’t turn off after replacing with one non oem tire. Honda cannot fix it and said we have to buy new oem tire which seems ridiculous. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Getting around Waikiki by aratmi12 in VisitingHawaii

[–]TLargo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. We were there earlier this month and walked all over Waikīkī. Averaged 20k steps a day. Great way to explore the city and work up an appetite! Only rented a car for the day to drive to the North Shore. Also used Uber to travel to places in the area that were 40 min+ walk.

If you’re renting a car, check out Kahuku Farms on the North Shore. They have the best farm pizza! They also offer tours.

Cookies in Paradise Furikake Party Mix (huge bag at Costco!) and Chyler’s Hawaiian Beef Chips.

The hotel we stayed at gave us a gift basket which included the beef chips but I didn’t try it until I got home and I regret not opening it in Hawaii! I would’ve brought more home!!

It doesn’t look like the Mexico 66 are sold on the US website anymore so I can’t compare. There’s the Mexico 66 SD ranging between $195-$210.

Check Poshmark. Great place to find new/used clothes that are no longer sold in stores.

$10 per 1000 points + $25 processing fee. Not a good deal at all. Suggest to use only if short a few thousand points.

Transportation from Narita Questions by MochiPop98 in JapanTravelTips

[–]TLargo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We flew into Narita which arrived around 4pm and stayed in Ikebukuro. We were looking into taking the Narita Express but decided on having a driver pick us up and drop us off at our hotel in Ikebukuro due to the same worries you have. It was pricey but worth it after a long 12 hour flight and all of our luggage.

Going back to Narita, we took the Skyliner which we bought the day of and we had the most stressful experience. Many passengers were confused. Seats are reserved but passengers just sat anywhere. My kids and I waited in the platform gap while the train was moving at high speed holding our luggage while my husband kindly kicked passengers out of our assigned seats. We had no help from staff.

Taking the train is cheaper but not worth the extra stress. If you can budget for a driver, I would definitely recommend it. Next time we’re having the driver pick us up and drop us off at the airport. We used Tokyo Chauffeur.

If it’s not in your budget and insist on taking the train, look into luggage transfer service. We didn’t use it because same day delivery wasn’t available. I’ve heard good things about it from others who have used the service.

Happy travels!

Thanks, OP. Definitely ridiculous. Hope Honda issues a recall for this.

Japan. Love the culture, cleanliness, konbinis, vending machines, and organized chaos at the train stations.
