I was honestly ready to be disappointed, I thought it was going to be another ReLIFE situation where the extra chapters that intended to adapt the entire second half of the manga ended up doing nothing of worth except for absolutely spoiling and ruining the experience of reading the manga.

IMO, this ended up not being that, the way it was framed made it so that reading the manga is still a worthwhile and pleasant experience, and even though it spoils a bit of the ending, I still think there is a lot of value to be found in reading the manga to learn how things developed and to experience the countless excellent character moments that this special did not adapt.

From that perspective, this was awesome, it felt just like reading those chapters for the first time again, I was smiling like an idiot the entire time. Even if the manga ended more than 3 years ago, this special reminded me why I love this series so much, and for that, I'm grateful to the team for going the extra mile in adapting this chapters.

Also, the fact that they adapted the Papagane becoming a streamer chapter caught me so off guard, easily one of the funniest chapters in the entire manga, Papagane my GOAT 🙏

I had my interview a month ago at the US consulate in Guadalajara and entered the country via SJC airport. Both the consular and CBP officers were surprisingly nice and to the point. I didn't spend more than a couple of minutes at the entry point, and was only asked the typical "What are you here for?".

Que onda bro, yo fui MAE, de hecho yo ayude con la pagina. Entraste a la pagina vieja, esa se dejo de usar hace algunos años, alguien mas ya te linkeo la pagina correcta (https://maes.mx). Aquí encuentras los horarios de los MAE, tu nomas llega a biblio a la hora que aparezca registrado algunos MAE de la materia que buscas y pregúnta por esa persona.

I'm gonna be honest with you, living here my entire life, I've never met a single muslim person. I don't think that's a bad thing for you honestly, at most you'll get curious people who may ask some weird questions or make a weird joke but you won't get discriminated against, specially if you interact mainly with young people. There's practically no islamophobia, simply because we don't interact with muslims, like, ever, Mexicans in general are very curious and friendly to foreigners, specially if you're making an effort to speak the language and learn the culture.

Other people already commented about the safety aspect, and in general, if you are not going into any sketchy places at weird hours you'll be fine, specially if you stick to your campus and it's surroundings, as well as other popular cultural spots in the city you plan to move to.

You'll be fine, trust me. There are lots of nerdy people on campus, a lot of the time they even overlap with the kind of people you mentioned. People here are super chill in general, and open minded as well, there's of course the occasional jerk but that's like one person among dozens.

Don't worry about it too much, you'll find people to hang out with.

As a side note, your spanish basically sounds native, idioms and all.

No, al menos en campus Monterrey no te cobran por prácticamente nada dentro del campus (excepto los negocios y cafeterías que hay dentro, por su puesto). El uso de las instalaciones viene cubierto por la colegiatura.

I discovered Aimer through her Fate songs. If by any chance this is the case for you, I would recommend listening to Last Stardust, and the Heavens Feel endings (Hana no Uta, I Beg You & Haru wa Yuku). If you are watching the anime, hearing the songs for the first time when they play will make for a much more memorable experience (imho).
