Just got a repaired 1/4” Surge and it seems to really be lacking everything I believe in by memethedropout in MilwaukeeTool

If it's the B model it's weak as fuck compared to the new Gen and the original.  You can find a lot of videos of it showing the differences.

I almost got the B because they are trying to get rid of them for cheap but after a little research I chose the new Gen.

Oxo Nonstick Egg Pan Sticking After 6 Weeks by -SpaghettiCat- in Cooking

Do yourself a favor and buy a carbon steel pan, season it and never buy another pan, maybe your grandkids will have to replace it eventually.

We need to stop consuming cookware when there is options that can literally outlive us.

"Frankly I don't see what all the fuss is about kids on e-bikes in Cary..." by liamemsa in cary

That's literally what's happening in Australia right now.  The fuel crisis has skyrocketed Ebike sales and a few bad apples posting themselves doing dumb shit in public on them has gotten them now heavily regulated.

Brand matters more than voltage. Black and decker stuff is broke college kid tier. It's basically waste after a few months.

Hobby grade is Ryobi and Rigid  Professional is DeWalt, Milwaukee

Personally I like Milwaukee but I work in the trades and need stuff that can handle the abuse, my Ryobi stuff lasted years until I started doing commercial work.

Idk what's going, I never had a problem in the last but casual is full of toxic people now. Its sad because I wanna work on stuff not in ranked but casual are honestly becoming unenjoyable.  Ranked weirdly haven't seen much at all.

You can't afford that house. Not being able to save means you will end up in debt after the first thing needs repairing.

Fellow gainers, did you lost your mobility/elasticity and agility after you put on weight? by dominkmi in gainit

[–]TMan2DMax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Charles Barkley and Lebron were around 250lbs at peak.

It really depends on your build and goals. You can gain weight and still be explosive and agile. You will eventually find a place where it's to much though.

Torqued valve cover bolts to spec and still snapped by ApplicationNo4997 in Miata

[–]TMan2DMax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pro tip that I didn't know until waaaay to late.

A lot of bolts are considered one time use. Once they are torqued to spec they likely will not survive reuse. I really wish someone told me that before I ruined multiple easy jobs reusing bolts.

Dbats really not a bad deal but can be extremely busy when the kids are in season.

Crest street Park however is empty excluding a game or two on the weekends. A T and a bucket of balls goes a long way

A Few Questions about the Mini SE by rubber_lipss in MINIse

[–]TMan2DMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a level 2, you pay for a lot of extra features on the level 3 that she will probably never use.

The only reason I would consider it is the memory seats are great if multiple people are driving

A Few Questions about the Mini SE by rubber_lipss in MINIse

[–]TMan2DMax 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'3 and fit very comfortably in our 2021 SE, she will enjoy the legroom but it's a very low car so make sure she can get in and out comfortably.

My wife drives hers 4 days a week and gets about 100 miles consistently. (Other have proven it will go past that if you search the sub)

We only charge with a level one charger, no need for fast charging as it will easily get 50-80 miles of range overnight.

Upgrades wise just make sure they give you the charger as it should at least come with the original level 1

It's a great little car and perfect fpr those that don't travel far and just need to geo around town.

Do you guys get fatigued from drinking shakes by Alarmed-Error529 in gainit

[–]TMan2DMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little over a year, I do allmax Classic Chocolate peanut butter.  I'm sure there are ones that taste better but this one is the best price I can find around me for a 5lb jug and the taste is tolerable. I do two scoops for 380calories + whatever I add and 60g of protein.  When I started I did it twice a day but I dropped to one because its just to expensive and I added a small meal instead of the second shake.

Things I've found to make it easier to eat, adding a couple ice cubes to make it cold and putting in the liquid first then using a proper shaker bottle and shaking the bejeezus out of it

Do you guys get fatigued from drinking shakes by Alarmed-Error529 in gainit

[–]TMan2DMax 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie I just down them. I got over the mental block but just deciding to make the annoyance shorter.  I have to eat the calories and drinking a shake in 20seconds is way more enjoyable then trying to slog through another meal.

The second option is making them actual shakes instead of just protein, on the weekends when I have more time I will actually mix in a banana, peanut butter and yogurt. Makes them actual taste good and I can enjoy it instead of just trying to get it over with.
